Tree Whitewash, Kaolin Clay for Apple Maggot Fly, Calcium Phosphate

Drake opens from Hilo with the I Ching hexagram 56, the Wanderer, and talks current events before turning to farm questions.

On tools: he prefers a power-scythe hedge-trimmer attachment (the Stihl/Efco Combi system) over a string trimmer for chopping brush, and says weed whacker rubber parts wear out in a year or two. His backup plan is learning blacksmithing to forge scythes from old truck leaf springs.

On fruit trees: whitewash can be made with kaolin or bentonite clay mixed with IMO, or Master Cho's method of an oatmeal paste stirred with IMO-4 and rubbed on bark to help it heal. Kaolin clay also blocks apple maggot fly but cuts into photosynthesis, so Drake would rather fix the underlying calcium deficiency and spray the fruit, not the leaves.

Craziness. Sorry about that. You know, I just want to live in peace and have people grow their own food and, you know, war is inevitable, I think. But this is just crazy.

So with that, you know, before we got an hour to ask any Korean natural farming questions, never a better time to prepare your gardens than World War 3. So getting your, you know, gardens together so when supply lines inevitably shatter, you'll be able to survive and thrive, hopefully, and rebuild a better, more peaceful planet. Or at least, you know, maybe you'll thrive. I don't know. War is inevitable. Not saying, like, can't we just all get along and have peace.

And so today, today is the Wanderer, which is a good one for today. I wonder that YouTube's being censored.

If I was in Iran, I don't think I'd be saying the same thing. If I was in Gaza, I don't think I'd be saying the same thing.

13:07 Time to prepare and to learn and to download this knowledge and to put it into your heart and to connect to the higher spirit and to become a messenger for natural farming in your area because as energy becomes harder to come by, which one way or another it's going to, whether the AI sucks it all up and the AI is using more of it and it becomes harder for you to get energy because it's all going to cat GPT, cat Jippity. As energy becomes more and more scarce, learning the Madadj stuff, learning that low power natural farming

13:49 where basically just have a bucket and a machete is going to be hugely vital. And then also learning Joe's methods of using the sugar, which is, which would be much harder to come through in a collapsed global economy. But having the sugar to know how to ferment, knowing the nine core solutions and what they do and why they're there and how to use them. It's just like having a hammer and a level and a tape measure. You have to have the tools to build things and knowing, you know, you could use the tape measure as your hammer, but you sure as shit are better off to have a hammer to use a hammer.

14:29 So understanding the nine core solutions in the way that these are the nine basic tools to build prosperity and a garden and to feed people. And you may not be able to have the perfect hammer, but you can use Madadj and understand how all these things fit together. So that as energy becomes more scarce, which it seems to be doing each day. I mean, I don't think they're making more of it and we're burning it like crazy to do just insane things like bomb each other and to burn it all in AI, which, you know, for better, for worse, they're like, we're going to figure out how to make people healthy

15:05 by burning all the energy through AI. And it's like, turn off the TV, get out to the garden and health will return. You know, start doing natural farming, start, you know, working your body this way. Health will return. You know, it's like, we're going to figure it out. We're going to cure cancer. It's like, stop eating processed foods, start eating food from your garden. Start eating food that's grown with great microbiomes. Start replenishing the soil around you. Make the soil deeper. Make the water more abundant in your soil with biochar and microorganisms.

15:39 You don't need an AI to tell you that, you know, which, you know, you just need nature here. Yeah, you know, so, you know, little ranty here. Little bit of just, you know, on my chair pulpit talking out. But I really just think that, you know, right now, right now's the time, you know, and thank God for these chips. Thank God for YouTube. Thank God for these things that this connection that we're able to have. That, you know, I feel like Master Cho, you know, and all his stuff, he gave this to me.

16:18 Now I'm able to give it to you to disseminate this around the world and you and us and we all have to be beacons of light to bring this knowledge around. Because there are other things out there that will help. But this, this understanding how to produce food with nothing. You know, you can talk to other people and be like compost, permaculture, great.

16:37 But having the nine tools to do that, you know, to build, to really build a society and to create a healthy microbiome, to create productive food systems is sort of like the, you know, it's, it's, it's the, it's the road, the androids you've been looking for. You know, these are the droids you've been looking for. This is like, this is, this is a huge vital component. If you know whether you're just going to like do okay, or you're going to thrive.

17:09 And so getting that, sharing that, being able to be, you know, while we're networked, while we have these connections before our internets get shut off these things. And I'm not saying like, oh, it's going to happen or fearful or like the sky is falling. I mean, bombs are falling. Rockets are falling. Rockets are falling. I do feel like World War Three has been underway for a while. It is a huge propaganda campaign. It is a battle for your mind. It's also going to turn violent and be a battle for your body.

17:42 And, and also, you know, if, if, if they do the fucking stupidest thing on earth and they go nuclear, this is one of the quickest ways to revive the earth from a nuclear catastrophe is using microorganisms. And biochar. Biochar and microorganisms will suck up the nutrient, the radioactive material. They will, they will divide it apart. They will make it safe. You can culture microbes that are extremophiles and used to high levels of radiation. You can spread them on the land. They will regenerate the land faster than anything else. Um, and, and bring it back to a state of fertility.

18:19 That's microorganisms and biochar. And then you have to use the maintenance solution with food, medicine, cleanser structure to spray on them, to accelerate them, to help them do their job. Um, and this is the best way to remediate the earth. So if they do go that way, and then you have these tools, uh, you can then remediate your area quicker and maybe your children will then have, uh, your children and your children's children will then have less, um, genetic deformities from the radiation. Um, you know, so this is really a hopeful thing for the world.

Uh, my honest opinion is it would be easier to, um, refine ethanol and get your weed whacker to run on ethanol and weed weed whacking. Weed whacking I'm not into. So my favorite, one of my favorite farm tools and a tool that I always, when I always go over to people and, and I, and I see them weed whacking, I'm like, what are you doing? Get this. Like, like this is your power scythe, this type of thing where you have an articulated hedger. Like almost everything you can do is done better with this. I will see people out there with like cutting down bushes and things. And it's like this, like weed whacking string trimmer.

27:12 And, uh, you know, there, there's a, there's a place for edging things and like getting close to things. And, but almost always in agriculture, this is going to be your tool. Just chop and drop and cut it down. Um, you know, and people will say a scythe is better than a weed whacker. And there'll be like, you know, a weed whacker versus scythe challenges. Give me one of these versus someone with a scythe. And, oh, bro, like you, you can just, you can, you put it through, you drag it just like a scythe. It is a power scythe. This thing goes through like nobody's business.

27:47 And other people will like other tools like blades and different things, you know, weed whacking. Weed whacking. But this man with efficiency and training, and it's not that much fuel. It's really not that much fuel. Like you can make that out of, um, out of, you know, tallow and, and lard. And, um, yeah, you can cut right, right at the base with this. It'll go through anything. It is this thing will go through trubs bigger than your finger. Like you can cut things as bigger than your thumb. Like, you know, if you can fit it between these blades, it'll cut it.

You know, the, the, like weed, and plus when you're done weed whacking, you come out clean. So this is, this is like the combi one. It fits on a 131 and smaller still. You can put it on other things. You don't want a too big of an engine to run through this thing. It'll blow it apart. Um, but, but even a 91, it'll work on, and, and, you know, I have stills. You can, you can use this on a Shindawa, a Maruyama, you know, whatever echo, you know, you

I mean, you know, so other people will go at it, go at it with this type of thing with a blade. It's like, what are you doing? What are you doing? Uh, you know, or what is it? What is this one? I basically got, he, he get, I got a extra hit, a whole weed whacker from him. Just, I'm like, these things are fair. They're super easy to rebuild and you could run it. And you could run it. I'm pretty sure you could run it on alcohol and, um, lard, you know, um, just make a mixture like that. I don't know. Maybe so, you know, and, and you'd be better off than, than siding, but maybe, maybe you
