The Pure KNF Certification Program sets a clear standard for what it means to know and practice Korean Natural Farming. For practitioners, it's a way to document mastery. For the community, it's a way to identify people who truly understand the work.
Two levels of certification
Foundations of Pure KNF
Demonstrate your understanding of KNF principles, the nine core solutions, and how to apply them. The L1 is an online exam — take it at your own pace.

Prove you can actually do it. L2 requires documented evidence of making and applying each of the nine solutions — reviewed and approved by certified instructors.

How it works
Learn the foundations
Start with the free resources — Office Hours archive, monthly meetings, the Pure KNF library. You don't need to pay anything to start learning.
Find training (optional but recommended)
In-person and online training courses connect you with experienced instructors who can guide your practice before you attempt certification.
Pass the L1 exam
A 60-question online exam covering the principles and practice of Pure KNF. Pass with 80% or better to earn your Level 1 certification.
Document your L2 practice
Make each of the nine solutions. Photograph the process. Record your observations. Submit evidence for each solution as you complete it — no deadline, no rush.
Get approved by an instructor
Certified instructors review your evidence and approve each solution. When all nine are approved, you earn your Level 2 certification.
Why certification matters
KNF is spreading fast. Not all of it is being taught well. The certification program exists to protect the integrity of the practice — and to give serious practitioners a way to be recognized for their knowledge.
For community members, a certified practitioner is someone who has done the work. For farmers making decisions about their land, that signal matters. For the movement as a whole, a clear standard keeps KNF from being diluted into something unrecognizable.
