Avocado Leaf Spot Cure, No-Smell Pig Pens, Egg Yolk Wound Oil

Drake answers a question about yellow spots on an avocado tree's leaves, likely algal leaf spot. His fix: spray the leaf formula's cleanser (brown rice vinegar) diluted around 1:200 to 1:300 with extra vinegar, plus medicine and structure/fuel/protectors around 1:500 to 1:800. Brown rice vinegar builds a wax layer on the leaf, thickens it, speeds foliation, and raises resistance to disease and insects.

He also answers why a rain barrel bubbler smells: stagnant water goes anaerobic, so bubbling in oxygen plus LAB (moringa helps too) clears the stench. For acidic volcanic water, he suggests adding calcium or building a cement catchment tank, which naturally alkalizes water over time.

The back half revisits 2017 footage from Master Li's farm in Muju, South Korea. Master Li's welded-rebar pig pens run with zero smell, flies, or cleaning thanks to fermented feed plus an IMO floor, and pigs are trained to crap on one side only. Drake and the crew treat a boar's bitten ear with egg yolk oil, and Dr. Park translates Master Li's breeding notes on crossing Berkshire, Yorkshire, and Duroc lines. Master Cho announces plans for a dedicated pig-farming seminar that September.

Questions answered

  • 13:57 My avocado tree has yellow spots on the leaves, is it algal leaf spot? — Spray the leaf formula's cleanser (brown rice vinegar) at about 1:200-1:300 with extra vinegar; it builds a wax layer that thickens leaves and boosts disease resistance.
  • 24:22 Why does my rain barrel bubbler smell bad? — Stagnant water goes anaerobic and stinks; add LAB (and moringa helps too) and keep it bubbling for oxygen to kill the smell.
  • 27:18 My catchment water is acidic from the volcano, what do I do? — Add some calcium, and a cement catchment tank will naturally alkalize acidic volcanic water over time.
  • 31:57 What does a no-smell pig pen setup look like? — Master Li's welded-rebar pen has zero smell or flies because the pigs get fermented feed plus an IMO floor, and they're trained to crap on one side only.
  • 40:20 How do you treat a pig's bitten ear? — Rub egg yolk oil on the bite wound to speed healing; in a clean pen the pig will likely recover fine either way.
  • 49:20 Which pig breeds does Master Li recommend crossing for meat pigs? — He crosses Berkshire, Yorkshire, and Duroc lines; Yorkshire sows especially are gentle, great mothers with plenty of milk.
  • 51:21 Is there a pig-specific KNF seminar coming? — Master Cho was planning a dedicated pig-farming seminar for that September, drawing every detail out by hand.
  • 53:37 What do pigs eat in the tropics besides straw? — Train them to eat banana plant stalks, not the fruit; Drake says it's a great feed trick in the tropics.
