From the KNF library

From the KNF library Drafted by Claude from Office Hours and the books · Sep 2026 · 2 sources

Cho says a liquid fertilizer needs IMO4, not IMO3. (Cho, Recipe, p. 19) A Cho's Solutions page says a tea generally uses IMO3 or IMO4. (Cho's Solutions, p. 11) The two sources differ on which stage to use. (Cho's Solutions, p. 11) (Cho, Recipe, p. 19)

For the amount, Cho gives a dilution ratio of 1/500 to 1/1,000. (Cho, Recipe, p. 19) His example is 1 to 2 kg of IMO4 in 1,000 L of water. (Cho, Recipe, p. 19) He puts the IMO in a hemp cloth bag or nylon stocking and soaks it in the water. (Cho, Recipe, p. 19)

The library gives no amount for a 5-gallon bucket of IMO3. It also does not say whether three fingers is right. Drake can weigh in on that at the next show.
