LAB Aeration, Sugar vs Molasses, Madag Spray Ratios
Drake starts with his "poo jacuzzi": a 55-gallon drum mixing dairy wash water, vinegar rinse, and lactobacillus with cow manure, drenched out through a 275-gallon tote and a 2-inch pipe. He answers whether LAB tea needs an air pump (LAB is facultatively anaerobic, so it grows without one, though aeration may help) and confirms mixing molasses with white sugar works fine for KNF inputs, since that's basically how brown sugar is made. He also runs homemade wetting-agent soap plus lactobacillus straight through the washing machine with no issues for his cesspool.
On tea-brewer materials, Drake says regular PVC is fine day to day since phthalates mostly leach under heat; HDPE, MDPE, copper, and glass carboys are pricier but plastic-free options. He goes off on a Victor Schauberger tangent about vortex flow forms and egg-shaped water devices.
Back to Master Cho's Madag: for 500 liters (132 gallons) of water, use roughly 3-15 liters soap, 0.5-2 liters sulfur, 3-20 liters herbs, and 10-20 liters microbes. Start sulfur at 0.5 liter for a greenhouse or 1 liter in the open field, increasing in 0.2-liter steps — persimmon, grape, and walnut are sulfur-sensitive. Soap plus herbs makes a pesticide, soap plus sulfur makes a germicide, soap plus microbes makes a fungicide, but sulfur and microbes should never be combined. Vinegar and sugar in Master Cho's recipes cut the soap's foam, so those blends need extra soap.
A real example: 500 liters water with 5 liters soap and 5 liters Jerusalem artichoke herbal solution (both 1:100), sprayed directly on aphids, killed them within 3 hours and left raisin-like husks by 24 hours. Fermented seawater is for the microbes that grow in it, while raw seawater carries the minerals, including calcium. Powdery, hydrophobic aphids still die from the soap solution, but only with soft water.
Questions answered
- 9:37 Can LAB tea brew without an air pump? — LAB is facultatively anaerobic, so it grows fine without an air stone, though aerating it may help it grow even better.
- 13:34 Can you mix molasses with white sugar for KNF solutions? — Yes — that's basically how brown sugar is made, combining white sugar with molasses.
- 17:22 Any problems using wetting-agent soap as laundry detergent? — None — Drake uses his homemade soap plus lactobacillus straight in the wash; stains still need bleach or oxygen cleaner.
- 20:36 What pipe is safe for a tea brewer given phthalate worries? — Regular PVC is fine day to day since phthalates mainly leach with heat; copper, glass, or clay cost more but avoid plastic entirely.
- 36:54 How do I apply KNF inputs? — Follow Master Cho's formula chart — spray at 25 gallons per acre or drench at 100 gallons per acre, per the maintenance/soil/seed/leaf/bloom/fruit/harvest prescriptions.
- 43:46 How much soap, sulfur, herbs, and microbes go into 500 liters? — Roughly 3-15 liters soap, 0.5-2 liters sulfur, 3-20 liters herbs, and 10-20 liters microbes per 500 liters (132 gallons) of water.
- 45:21 How do you dial in the right sulfur dose? — Start at 0.5 liter for a greenhouse or 1 liter in the open field, then increase in 0.2-liter increments; persimmon, grape, and walnut are sulfur-sensitive.
- 47:43 How do soap, sulfur, herbs, and microbes combine into treatments? — Soap plus herbs makes a pesticide, soap plus sulfur makes a germicide, and soap plus microbes makes a fungicide — never mix sulfur and microbes together.
- 50:12 Why does the soap stop foaming in some mixes? — Vinegar and sugar or molasses in Master Cho's recipes cut the soap's foam, so those mixes need noticeably more soap.
- 53:18 What's an example pesticide recipe and does it work? — 500 liters water with 5 liters soap and 5 liters Jerusalem artichoke solution (both 1:100) killed every aphid within 3 hours sprayed directly on them.
- 57:39 Why doesn't the fermented seawater formula list calcium? — Fermented seawater is mainly for the microorganisms that grow in it, while raw seawater is used for its mineral content, including calcium.
- 58:29 Does the soap solution work on powdery, hydrophobic aphids? — Yes, but only with soft water — hard water keeps the soap from wetting them.

1:30 hey good morning good day good wherever you are um welcome to office hours for korean natural farming what's up thomas we got you in the house yo bro hopefully you're getting that chipper getting the uh hurricane waste turned into a good thing goof yo what's up brother and How you, bro? And, yeah, so got an hour to go over Korean natural farming topics. Remembering Master Cho, his legendariness that makes all this possible. And Pure Kena Foundation sponsoring the show and you members and also super chatters out there all around the world.
2:23 What's up? How you doing? Um, so if we got any questions, go for it. If not, uh, look into Madag. It's still Madag time, believe it or not. This whole, I can't believe this took this entire year. I can't believe I took an entire year dedicated to explaining Madag. You would think it would take five minutes and, uh, ultimately it probably does, but, uh, there's never been a more in-depth study of Madag than right here at the office hours, in the office, the Korean Natural Farming, pure KNF headquarters of the world, doing our thing. So we'll start off with a bit of higher wisdom for today,
3:10 see what we got here. We're doing today contemplation. So by concentrating on the higher laws, you acquire the power that underlies them. In Chinese, the word quan can mean either contemplation or setting an example, depending on how it's pronounced. The hexagram incorporates both meanings. for what it teaches us is to set an example for others through our contemplation of proper principles.
3:57 The fundamental fact of consciousness is that we take on the attributes and energy of that which we focus our attention. In studying and meditating on the I Ching, we are concentrating on the underlying principles that govern the universe. Through contemplation of the wisdom of such principles as independence, detachment, modesty, acceptance, and tolerance, we begin to embody them in our own lives. their power informs our actions and practices and we begin to have great influence as a result
4:45 this hexagram comes to remind comes to indicate you need to make a self-correction and return to contemplation of proper principles by sacrificing the harsh judgments of your ego and asking the sage for guidance you free yourself from hindering influences and increase your merit and thereby your ability to have an influence it is in the quiet contemplation of what is correct that we become detached from anxious emotions about the situations that face us. This detachment gives us a balance and calm to choose the solutions
5:35 which are in accordance with the higher laws. In doing so, we gain the aid of the creative in everything we do. and others are drawn to this strength. Truly, we gain the ability to lead through the contemplation of the principles of our own leader, the sage. Yep. Set an example. Contemplate. Do the right things. Focus on natural farming. set an example. You want to teach others, do it right yourself. You want to make a difference
6:22 and make a difference instead of trying to tell others to make a difference for you. You know, so it goes, so it is written, so it may be, so we shall see. Yeah, so set an example. What have I been up to? I created a poo jacuzzi a couple weeks ago, I don't know, I've been talking about this, I think. We've been putting some of the cow manure into a 55-gallon drum and filling it with the dairy wash water. So every day after I'm done milking the cow, we run water through the milker, get that water, put that into the barrel. Then I run vinegar to clean the milker, dump that.
7:10 And then I run lactobacillus through the milker to make sure that no residual gross bacterias and whatever get in there. And that water gets dumped in the barrel. So milk water plus lactobacillus water plus poop manure from the dairy cow while she's in the stanchion, whatever she poops in the cattle in our dairy shed, basically our dairy barn. and yesterday I was able to it's been raining like crazy hasn't hasn't been raining that much and then just the just yesterday it rained a whole bunch and so I was able to dump that
7:50 the dairy the poop water the poo jacuzzi it was it was bubbling it's third each day and just make sure it stayed nice and aerated and it was bubbling and smelling you know not that bad actually because the lactobacillus is in there, right? Eating away all the smell particles and dump that into the 275-gallon tote and drench that out to the field through a two-inch pipe. And so setting an example, you know, doing, I hear all year, been talking about my dadge, right? Talk, talk, talk, talk about my dadge, but am I actually doing my dadge? Yep, yep.
8:33 poo jacuzzis um and then also put a bunch of lactobacillus water in there as well um so gotta go get some more two inch pipe so i can extend the reach of it because i actually have two systems i have one on the off the barn and then one off the dairy dairy um i don't know what you call dairy shed it's where uh it's you know it's a roof to collect water and keep us dry while we're milking because it's been raining like crazy. And so I've been setting an example, putting that out there, doing it. You know, I talk all year and it's like sometimes I just, you know,
9:10 I don't necessarily do those types of things, but it's good to do. So hopefully bring our pasture, get it even more growing, even better. So, yeah. And Stone Mason's saying he makes big 100 to 200 gallon teas from LAB for his pond water. Can I brew the tea without the air pumps since it can be anaerobic and aerobic? Yeah, so LAB is facultatively anaerobic, meaning that it doesn't, it prefers anaerobic conditions, but it'll also live in aerobic. um and you know interesting uh thing since you mentioned that yeah you can totally do it without
10:00 an air stone uh the air stone for lab uh may actually be slightly more detrimental let me let me look this up real fast facultatively and a robe and yeah so here let me let me get this over here get this like that do that bring this over here like that and then check this picture out so this image here this one so let's let's make it can we make it even bigger. There we go. So these are obligate aerobes, and they're going to be in the
10:46 very surface of your thing, right? This is micro aero files, and there's going to be a few and then mostly concentrated up at the top. Then the facultatively anaerobe, I guess, is going to be concentrated at the top and then everywhere down there. So maybe I'm wrong on this, actually. Maybe the air bubble will work because if you're making it aerobic, maybe it's more. And there's aerotolerant aerobes. And they're going to be evenly distributed. And then there's an obligate anaerobic.
11:18 And those are going to be in the most anaerobic part of your solution, according to this picture from allhealthpost.com. So who knows if this is misinformation or not. But it seems legit to me. But so maybe maybe aerating is a good thing. But if you don't aerate, you will find a pretty good distribution of the microbes all over here. So because lactobacillus is facultatively anaerobic. So I guess if it's aerobic, it'll grow better. It looks like it to me. At least that's what I'm gleaning from this. Whether I am correct or not, I don't know.
12:00 but it seems like there will be more sparsely populated beneath. But that's how you get to those. Is there an... Yeah, here's another graphic. Oh, 403 forbidden. You may not view my image. Google already got it, though. Duck, duck, go, I guess. I don't know who did the index here. But again, you know, same thing. showing these where they are everywhere. So anaerobic, I don't know. So let's see. I think that's the same thing they're showing here of the distribution, right? Facultatively anaerobic looks like it's distributed everywhere. It says growth throughout, even with heavier
12:49 growth toward the top. Oh, often with heavier growth toward the top. So maybe, maybe aerating it is a better thing. I don't know, because you would have more oxygen. I would think that they're more toward the top because of that. But there you go, you know. So let's see, are there other pictures? Yeah, these are all showing the same type of thing with more toward the top. So yeah, so maybe aerating makes sense. What's up, hut of knowledge? Ancient knowledge. Hut of ancient knowledge. Can I mix molasses with white sugar and use the same
13:34 for making KNF solutions in the absence of pure brown cane sugar? Why, I'm glad you asked. Hang on, let me pull this up because if we go to the YouTube here let's just go here do this, go to the channel and one of my more popular videos so if you click on the channel thing later, like, subscribe, share, whatever or don't and then you go down here to these videos and it's KNF Sugar vs. Molasses. So this video, 22,000 views five years ago. Wow, that was a while ago. I was in the Philippines when I made this.
14:21 But it basically talks about sugar versus molasses. And I go through the whole refining process and talk about white sugar being made into brown sugar with the molasses coming in and then the molasses being reintroduced. this whole flow chart and then you know what is raw sugar all these differences so this video right here in fact I will just make it easier for you and put it into the chat there so it'll be in the chat um and uh but you can watch that one and that tells you the answer about um you know can
15:02 you use, can you mix molasses with white sugar? Sure, you totally can because that's what most, this original chart right here, let's just watch this little section. I'm going to mute this and just watch this little section right here. So is it going to go? Yeah, this was a wild time. So, but anyway, here, let's pause it for one second. So it starts off with cane juice, right? sugar cane juice. That's what you juice out. And then the off the byproduct of that is the bagasse, right? As you start juicing the sugar cane, then sugar cane juice, if you just dehydrated that,
15:41 you would get raw sugar. Um, you know, and, and what comes off that is water, right? And then as we go down, is it going to go down? I hope it's going to go down. I think it's going to go down. I don't know. We'll see. Is it, let's skip ahead a little bit. Oh yeah, it went down. So then you get white sugar and the molasses coming off. So raw sugar goes to white sugar and molasses via centrifuges. Let's see, skip ahead again. And then white sugar plus the molasses coming back equals your brown sugar. So if you just took white sugar plus molasses, you can make brown sugar.
16:19 And the reason to use brown sugar is the molasses has a lot of minerals and all kinds of goodies in it. and the white sugar is basically just sucrose, I think. Sucrose? Yeah, I'm pretty sure. And so combining those back together, you would get brown sugar. So totally you can do that. Makes sense. You could just use white sugar, but you're going to lose these, you're going to lose the minerals and all this. You're going to have emaciated microbes and all those things. And so it makes sense to kind of, we'll put it in theater mode, make it a little
16:56 bigger. Yeah. Makes sense to bring those back in. Um, so yeah, I hope that answers your question. And if you want to learn a whole lot more and watch that video, it's, it's not that long. It's like 20 minutes, 29 minutes, I guess, half hour, but you can put it on two times and watch it in 15 minutes. Be done with it. Um, what's up Renee got Renee in the house. What's up? Uh, do you, Do you any problems with your washing machine when using homemade wetting agent as laundry soap? I would assume it would be better on the septic drain field. Yeah, no problems using the soap in the washing machine.
17:40 I just dump it in as if it was laundry detergent, you know, pretty much the same amount. And also use lactobacillus in there. so lacto plus the soap that i make and that's what goes in my washing machine awesome makes my clothes you know clean they smell well doesn't really remove stains um you know uh you still need like bleach or oxy uh what's that oxy clean whatever that stuff is uh hydrogen peroxide basically um to clean out more stubborn stains on certain things but um but super clean you know if you're
18:17 not staining your clothes, then they come out really nice. Um, and, um, and I just run it in the regular, you know, whatever wash cycle. I just turn the machine to the thing and it does it. Um, it rinses out just fine. It's all good. Um, and we here have a, uh, uh, a cesspool. So it's not a septic system. It's a cesspool. So meaning that it goes directly into the ground and then washes out into the ocean because that's just Hawaii style. I think they did change it to septic systems a while ago, but it will. So by putting the soap in there,
19:00 it's going to break down in about three days. We covered that in the Medaj. Maybe I'll go back to that when I get into the Medaj. But the soap totally breaks down. No detergents, nothing washing into the water systems completely gone just turning back to its original components or and or digested things and then also putting the lactobacillus down there all the rest of the poop and everything that's in the septic system or the cesspool being broken down and eaten by lactobacillus which are great at disposing of waste so again awesome cool things to be putting
19:35 into the, into the water systems, into, you know, um, I don't think I'm causing a, um, E. coli overgrowth, uh, in the bay, which most other people are who are not putting those things in there. Um, so totally use it just like regular soap. And, um, yeah. Um, you know, I usually, I usually don't even measure. I just kind of free pour that stuff. I just splash out LAB, a little bit bigger splash of the soap in there and works really, really, really well. Nice clean clothes come out, you know. And also when you put LAB in your clothes, then when you go and you
20:18 work out, you know, flex a little bit, you don't smell as bad because they eat all that stuff. so big west is asking a lot of pvc pipe being used for water i heard about phthalates yeah they spell it all weird because they don't want you to know that word any knowledge i can get on the best pipes to use for my t-burr i want to build what kind of pipe PVC. Um, you know, most of phthalates, if it's, um, you, you could use, uh, yeah, I mean, I just use regular PVC. Um, the phthalates and stuff are coming out with heat. I would watch the,
21:07 you know, Joe Rogan interviewed some lady about the phthalates and the, um, the, what do you call the your your your grundle shrinking your balls being closer to your butthole um and that that being a thing of plastic poisoning and plastic's pretty much ubiquitous um i would think that the best way to make a tea brewer would be to do some sort of clay thing if you were a clay person or you could get um glass i don't know some glass brewing stuff you know, cause I'm using, I use a plastic jug, like a waterman jug, but I'm not heating it up
21:52 and the phthalates, I'm not, you know, I don't know. I mean, it's something that probably in a hundred years they would be like, why did we ever use plastic? That's why there's nobody left and we're all feminized. I don't know what's going to end up happening to us. And they're also going to be like, yeah, those cell phones, that was a dumb idea. You know, we sterilize their entire population and no one could breed and fertility went to zero. Um, you know, the more, you know, um, we're, we're all finding out where we're a living experiment right now. So, um,
22:26 but the main thing with phthalates I think is heat and also, you know, uh, sunlight breaking down plastics. I would use anything that's BPA and whatever those, you know, free stuff. um what is it like food grade plastic but again you're still getting that stuff in there don't be fooled food grade it is it is gnarly and nasty i'm just not an expert on that i just you know my wife and i try to avoid plastic you know i don't my balls don't need to be any closer to my butthole. Um, I'm using wetting agent soap and vinegar for the softener. I don't know what you're
23:09 talking about, Thomas. Um, uh, the other types of pipe you could use, I mean, there's HDPE. there's uh what is that stuff yeah hdpe is it yeah i think let me go let me look up a water pipe i want to get a cheech and chong kind of thing going on here pipe pipe fittings bongs and water pipes yes i knew it grass city what's up grass city um there's this type of pipe? What is this? This is MDPE. Uh, the more flexible pipe is, the more I heard it had, it releases those phthalates though. So this one that's flexible, but MDPE could use HDPE, this
23:57 stuff. Um, I don't know. Uh, Ooh, you can use copper. This isn't copper, but, um, copper would probably be a good choice. Although I'll be at expensive copper would probably be a decent choice. use lead make sure no copper pipe would probably I think let me see 2 inch copper pipe what the hell do they sell it hell yeah they do it's expensive it's all get out look at that for 10 feet it's $236 look at that though this product is not available to ship to your area how do they know where I am. Oh gosh. But a copper pipe would probably be epic, bro. And yeah, just here's soft drawn
24:59 tube. Look at that. You can get copper pipe like this. I don't know if they make it that big. It looks like their biggest is one eighth inch. Um, do they make flexible like copper pipe like this rigid soft copper pipe where you could just make your own thing, put all these little fittings on there? I don't know. Well, copper would be an interesting idea though. Oh yeah. And Robert already is like copper pipe or lead for fun. Yeah. Good. You already made my jokes man you robert you should uh you should host the show man you are good
25:34 you are good before i could even make the jokes he's already making them uh but yeah uh copper let's see oh borax in the laundry yeah borax would be good in the laundry um hey what's up mark mark in the house yes um oh hdp is high density mdp is medium density man i learned so much here i um pe is a cross between copolymer pipe still plastics yeah so plastics um hdpe for food grade stuff yeah yeah um Motorola MicroTAC 2 cell phone
26:31 oh man yeah I guess that will irradiate your balls yeah okay yeah so if it's colored plastic you're going to be most it's going to be HDPE uh copper's antimicrobial probably but most of it's going to be through the flow um um and then you know uh you can also look up um you know like uh what is it um glass brewing jug like you know do some like something like this where your your brewing tank is a glass brewing tank versus a plastic one you know a carboy glass carboy and uh you know
27:23 no did i click i clicked on it yeah look at this oh it's 99 though i got 99 but ain't one oh but you can get 12 off your first order of course you do enter your email they want your email it's worth whatever what is that 99 but they're gonna pay you that much to get your email so they can send you stuff. Valid for first-time subscribers only. But you can get, you know, what is that, $89? $87? But you're probably going to pay that 12% back in shipping. Oh, but free shipping on orders over $59. So, you know, if you get in on this,
28:11 You could get a glass brewer and then take a torch and cut a hole in the back so you could make it work. But you could make this into a brewer. That would be kind of cool. Yeah, if you went full, no plastic type of thing. Nickel copper for corrosion resistance. yeah um all the extra copper has gone to appalachian mountains to rebuild the stills that the hurricane washed out oh man yeah find some extra copper out there that'd be sweet if it washed down you found it um yeah all those people man who looked uh chris anthony's okay
28:54 though i talked to him if anyone's curious he yeah well he emailed me and he said he's great so that's good i'm glad he is doing okay out there i don't know anyone else who tunes in that's in the appalachia region but um man how do you know so much about plastic mark that is incredible um polymer cell phones um uh basically making oh he's a plumber okay yeah i guess you gotta know about plastic if you're a plumber lots of plastic out there bro um yeah and all those uh what do you call um you know
29:40 that glue that you get on your hands that causes cancer um garbage can bro i'm thinking i should wait and think it through the glass bottle and copper was a freaking wild idea yeah i also make stills yeah stills cool cool yeah making stills is a good idea you gotta know about the copper tubes copper pipes the correct uh riser column all that good stuff putting the the yeah we made a good still one time that's why i don't drink alcohol anymore oh enough 98% cachaca make you black out and forget that you love life um yeah wild times
30:29 um so anyway you could you could make a super eco-friendly glass copper tea brewer and then uh you know make sure it's golden ratio if if you are interested um let's let's just let's just go here and look up Walter. Oh, no, not Walter Russell. Let's look up Victor. Victor Schauper. Yeah, there we go. Thanks. Auto suggest changing my mind. This dude, you should definitely look up his stuff because he does stuff like this where you have these different flow forms and stuff and understanding how water, the golden ratio and the flow and all that works.
31:16 Like he was a watered wizard, right? So understanding the more you can design around this, the more you are compatible to make biology and life and all that happen, right? So understanding these natural flow form type of things. Victor Schauberger, here, look at this. This looks like an interesting water device of some sort. They're putting water in, spinning it here, having these pipes come down in these coils. Look at that. So instead of a straight coil, a straight thing, he's having these coils in there, golden ratio, tea brewer type of water purifier thing.
31:57 look at this here's some here's you want to get inspired here look at this this is all copper man this dude look at that some sort of copper water machine of some sort i don't know what the heck it actually was um look at this i think that's a plow actually a golden ratio plow and then what is this some sort of uh a vortexer so it's as the water goes through it spins it copper i don't know I think this is someone trying to make money off him. But this dude, look at this, like pictures, golden spirals, eggs, things like this.
32:35 You know, understanding water's true flow forms, those types of things. If you don't know about this guy, you know, check it out. It's worth checking out. He made floating hovercrafts and things with a motor that made air come in and spin around and then lift, lifter type of thing. he was doing some uh ufo type of research look at this thing whoa bro if you had a t-bur like that look at that spirals oh my gosh it's a free energy device apparently so you know you want to make money do that but basically the idea is you know water doesn't you know the water spirals it
33:16 constantly spins spirals it actually wants to flow uphill um but it keeps pulling itself down that's why individual water molecules rise but water sinks so anyway check this dude out if you're speaking of making a brewer if you're going to make a custom thing anyway you may as well go full Walter Russell and then kind of hunch over and take a picture where you look like a dwarf that'd be a you know just for posterity's sake set an example oh here this is what I wanted to get this is what I wanted to show I don't know if this can we make it make it bigger um yeah here the inlet the unwatered
34:00 untreated water comes in spins around and but it's an egg shape and a drive pulley that makes this thing I don't know what this is but the noble water rising a carbon dioxide inlet pressure chamber I don't know this thing looks badass though I don't know what it is or if even if that's the right thing but something that's egg-shaped let's look at this one clean air soiled air oh this is like a filter of some sort or something I don't know air purifier there you go so um but water purifier yeah we could trip out on this guy for a while I guess
34:37 but if I was to design a brewer on here in the flow forms these nice things these things are cool too. Comprehend. Oh, here's a better picture of it. Looks like nutsacks head down or hearts upside down either way. I don't know. Depends what you're into. Um, let's see. Spin in there doing that. Oh yeah. Here he gets to get some like, uh, antelope horn pipes, make all these things. so yeah anyway tripping out on victor shauberger good guy doing those things yeah okay yeah mess with the pipe yeah yeah if you weld then just make create something custom
35:27 bro make make something like look up victor shauberger make some custom egg-shaped thing yeah the glass game changer yeah you could probably if you got a torch you could cut through that um vortex vortex is like you know you're working with nature you're you're pulling energy in and subtle forms doing those things you you know um instead of making bubbles in something you're actually like pulling subtle energies in vortexing very very good stuff is speaking of here here let's just look at one last victor picture since it was here let's click on this view the file look at this
36:09 so so this is like energy dynamics i think i i don't know well golden kegel schauberger i don't know but anyway when you spin things around it's able to pull energy in and like you know the power of uh tornadoes and stuff and pythagoras kepler shul doesn't sound cool i mean those are all like legendary folks out there but understanding how it can pull energy in the vortex is like beyond good tech man it's like something that's next level when we're out there and you know 20 35 we'll be doing vortexing stuff probably not we'll probably be just picking our butts but
36:46 you know whatever um yeah so the more you can do and get in touch with nature and do those things the better. Um, well, you can do Ram pumps, Ram pumps are a little different, but, um, to get water to flow uphill, you could do a Ram pump, but it's different, different concept. Um, and, uh, Lee asking, how do I apply KNF inputs? Well, the one that, yeah, I mean, I spray them out or drench them out. I've been drenching them lately, but if you have the, did I not open that? Okay, here it is, this, and then let's see this. How do I apply them?
37:29 Let's say, hang on one sec, is you apply them using this formula chart right here. So this formula chart right here is how to make them for different things. So if you don't have the book, you should get the book, knfsupport.com. You can download the book or buy a hard copy. I I have plenty in stock, although I think I maybe have to increase the stock number, but I have plenty. There's a bunch sitting right next to me over here. And then these are the reasons when you'd use each one, right?
38:02 So these are the seven different prescriptions of ways to mix them, to apply them, and you can either spray or drench them. If you spray it, 25 gallons per acre. If you drench it, 100 gallons per acre. But you use these different prescriptions. so maintenance, soil, seed, leaf, bloom, fruit, harvest it's not quite as simple as it seems but I make it as simple as I can possibly make it you can always get better from there and then here are those formulas so screenshot that thing I probably can ship to the UK it's probably going to cost me a bit more but let me know I can send you a book
38:39 I'll have to quote you on the shipping so send an email drake at pureknf.org and I'll get you the get you a shipping quote because sometimes it's hard to ship international because you know post office and stuff so Cecily in the house 92 year old cousin in the UK who has a heart valve replacement and pacemaker oh my gosh now hyperactive when we're on the phone for 70 minutes. Wow. Well, I guess sometimes you just need a new valve. So, you know,
39:25 that's, uh, it's amazing. I, yeah. Awesome. You guys amazing. Cecily, one of the most awesome natural farmers out there. Every time I talk to her, I'm like, Oh my gosh, she, she makes me seem lazy. Um, yeah. So, Hey, cool. Hey, Lee. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. Well, Hey man, you just paid for the shipping. So I'll get you, I'll get you some nice stuff. So, um, I have emailed you a few weeks back. Okay. Well, I'll have to check. I'll have to check. Cause I didn't, maybe I didn't get to it. I don't know. Sometimes things slip through. I try and do a lot, but you know, it's always
40:03 worth it to do it again, but hopefully I can get it to you, Lee, because I do have books here, so I will put them in an international envelope and send those out. Yeah, all those dots might make you figure out free energy. Yeah, studying Victor Schauberger. Awesome, awesome. He's a really good guy. I'll figure all that out, make all those things happen. Yeah, cool. New valve gang. cool well if there's no more questions let's get to some madadge you can always ask more questions but we'll go madadge time madadge time yeah okay cool um let's see here so i'll pull up the
40:47 presentation we were we were getting into the oh man we're getting some good stuff so i was gonna someone asked wait what was about the soap wait there was a question back oh man i was gonna oh walter russell walter russell also epic bro yeah um yeah yeah walter russell uh yeah i knew i have all this you know that's how i know stuff's walter russell and um victor schoberger super awesome dudes um yeah walter russell the the the spiral periodic table just yeah it's like oh it all makes sense now all these scientists put on rows and then make gaps it's like bro it's
41:27 just a spiral if you admit it as a spiral then you'd have the key to alchemy it's like no they don't no no spiral for us no it's all flat lines it's like nature abhors lines it's all spirals hey yes you know you guys so thanks for being generous thanks for supporting the office hours thanks for being real good people i appreciate that it's really it's good it's good um thank you thank you thank you okay my dadge my dadge my dadge i was was i i was gonna show something about the soap or something i don't know i forgot i can't remember i should have written it down
42:04 my friend just bought two pigs lol better do knf bro it's gonna be stink ass pigs okay so anyway we're getting into my dadge we saw these beautiful people that practice this with their sophisticated brewers. I think they just wanted to flex on you a little bit, but this is how they make herbal solutions. They're like, we make herbs in these brewers. Yeah. Here's some other systems, but we were getting into how much to use of each ingredient. So we're getting into like, we finished up the soap, the sulfur and the herbs. So if you didn't get those past episodes,
42:46 It's knfsupport.com and or the YouTube channel. Like, subscribe, share, learn how to use YouTube, find out the old episodes. But here we're going to get into how to use the Madag. Yeah, always use less water than rice if you are making IMOs. Yes, yes, indeed. yeah you'll be pretty good with that ratio it depends um if it comes out mold yeah anyway this uh okay i don't want to go into imos right now i'm gonna get into my dad i'll do you know we can get into some imos later but yeah always use less water than rice um and then you will get
43:33 dry cooked rice it's al dente great stuff so how to use how much to use each ingredient so once you got, you know, you want to make these things up, he's saying add water to make 500 liters here or 132 gallons or 15 liters or four gallon in brackets. So the bracketed, these aren't brackets, bro. Those are parentheses. The parentheses are, um, for four gallons. And the other one over here is in, um, is for 132 gallons. So if you were, basically, if you were to use this and you were just like, this is just like his baseline things, right?
44:16 Is it's going to be somewhere between three to 15 liters of soap. Okay. So how much to use? It depends on your use case, but it's going to be somewhere probably in this range. so for 132 gallons or and he says increase to 10 liters for fruit tree winter pest control so if it's winter time cold out you're going to have to add more apparently on everything or at least on the sulfur and the soap and somewhere you're going to be in the range between 0.5 to 2 liters for sulfur. You're going to be
45:06 between 3 to 20 liters for the herbs, and you're going to be between 10 and 20 liters for the microbes. So you can kind of do this math here to see, but that's basically for the 500 liters, you're going to be somewhere in that range. Where to go exactly on that range is going to depend on what you are doing. So he says down at the bottom, start using the sulfur from half liter for greenhouse and one liter for an open field. Increase in 0.2 liter increments. so this is going to you know you're going to just go up and up and up until you find you start at
45:53 these and then you just keep incrementing up a bit until you find your effectiveness for what you're trying to use sulfur for so either pesticide or a fungicide type of thing you're going to use incrementally increase the amount of sulfur you use obviously in a you know it makes sense that in a greenhouse you're going to use a little less because it's a contained environment and you just don't want to overdose a greenhouse there's less environmental impact on all that so then he says some crops persimmon grape walnut are sensitive to sulfur take caution in increments so also
46:32 realize sulfur is a very gnarly element to be putting out there and so yeah use exercise caution on all that, especially with plants that are sensitive to sulfur. Then he says, when disease is serious, increase the soap up to eight liters, but do not continue use. So you want to just hit it one time hard, but not continually do it. And then, you know, you always want to follow up with the microbes. So if you're following along, this is the basic, basic thing.
47:14 You can become your own pesticide, fungicide, problem solver expert by using these solutions in these ranges, using these incremental things and balancing it all out. So the next slide, he goes into this triangle, which this is like his, he was super proud of this. I remember the first time he showed this, he was just beaming with light. He was just so happy and proud that he had figured this out. But he basically says, you know, you got germicide over here, which is the sulfur. You got the pesticide up here, which is the herbs. And you got the germicide over here, which is the microbes.
48:00 So, and the soap is the center. so the soap is used all the time it says all inputs must have the soap do you need the soap yeah well it helps um you need some sort of surfactant and or um sticker sprayer spreader and that's what the soap acts as and so he uses the soap all the time right gotta keep it clean but he basically combines you know the herbal solution plus plus the soap plus water you get a pesticide the sulfur plus the soap plus water is germicide this the microbes plus the soap plus water is germicide and then you can do combos of those right you know you notice he's not really
48:49 doing a combo between sulfur and JMS here. There's no thing here for this because usually you don't use sulfur and the microbes in the same solution. You can use the sulfur plus the herbs. You can use the herbs plus the microbes, but you don't want to use the sulfur plus the microbes here. What you want to do is use sulfur, anything with sulfur, and then come back after and put the microbes like a day or two later you want to put the microbes back but combining these two is not recommended right and so here you can get a pesticide here and a pesticide there by combining these things
49:30 herbs plus microbes plus soap sulfur plus herbs plus soap and you can get these different things so this is his combo how to use these things now you haven't made these at home because please don't and this is how to use them. So, um, yeah, um, yeah, brewing tea sometimes can be challenging. Um, it's a lot to it, but, um, so he says these substances reduce foam in a pesticide, and foam is the key. You want it to be sudsy, you want it to be foamy, you want it to cover the area.
50:20 In fact, he uses a foam sprayer. And this is what I find that when I'm using Master Chose solutions that all contain vinegar typically, is that you get diminishing returns because the vinegar cuts the soap. So anytime you're using soap with Master Cho's things, because they have vinegar in them, it becomes hard. And then also liquid fertilizer using sugar or molasses also cuts the foam. So because Master Cho's stuffs are heavily around vinegar and sugar, you have to add more. And I haven't noticed this with seawater, but I suppose maybe I should have, but I haven't noticed this with seawater.
51:07 but you're going to just have to add more soap in when you are using these solutions here. So if you're using soap plus Master Cho's recipes, you will have to add way more soap than you think. And it's like, man, it's a lot of soap. And then, but if you're using just Young Song Cho's things, well, first off, it's like, come on, bro. But second off, it's like, yeah, you probably have a little less soap usage. so um and then he says always dissolve ingredients separately in water when making pesticides and so i think he's saying dilute them a little bit before you mix them all together
51:48 um because if you put them in concentrate or you put them concentrated together they will clump and cause just gnarly side effects so put it into the water before you mix them so keep these separate I think that's what he's saying and it probably makes sense um so let's see what else does he have oh here he has more machines so he can flex on us he's making soap sulfur and herbs in large quantities and look at that nice he even has a hood on there that must be for the sulfur um and look at that motor man that's like some automated stuff happening there in that control
52:32 panel and nice nice and look at his water softener in line here yeah yeah he ain't messing around now let that water be soft um but yeah you know if you really want to flex on on your neighbors you gotta get all these nice stainless steel things look at that steel beam man man korea it's just like what an amazing place yeah yeah yeah cecil you're on you're on the right page that's good the fungal compost all those things that's so awesome good things yeah putting sulfur out there sometimes you need sulfur
53:18 actually as a soil amendment i think that's what cecil is saying they need some sulfur out there so So now I think we're going to get into the different recipes. And I think we covered these in the book. But we'll just cover them again for completeness sake. And hopefully we'll get through this. We've still got two more months to finish here. Yeah, stainless steel brewing makes you happy. Yeah, if you can afford it, go for it. It'll last forever. So anyway, this is controlling aphids with his herbal solution pesticide.
53:52 he was using Jerusalem artichoke in this case. So what he did is he made 500 liters of water. He added in five liters of soap or one to 100 dilution. And then he added in five liters of the Jerusalem artichoke herbs, again, a one to 100 dilution. And he said aphids are common on the back of cucumber leaves, but not when young song is around because he sprays those and look at the foam. You see the foam? Let's zoom in on that foam. Let's zoom in on that. Oh, look at that foam. Look at those bubbles. See that bubbles? That's the key. You got to have the soap make it
54:31 foamy. Not foam on, but foamy. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Okay. If I scroll in the wrong place, it just skips slides. I wish I could turn that off. Jerusalem artichoke pesticide has been applied because of the JWA, they had been coated completely. Like you just soak it on. So if you're going to spray these pesticides, you have to get it directly on them. If you don't get it directly on them, it's not going to work. You can't just spray it nearby. You have to hit them with it. So this is the hard part about applying the pesticides is you have to get it directly
55:11 on the pest you are trying to get. And then he says three hours after spray, all aphids have died. Every single one of them. Um, but yeah, they're just, they're just dead. It took, I guess it took three hours. I don't know, but basically they choke out, right? That's soap. And then the, I don't know how the Jerusalem artichoke must also help, but basically you can just spray them and they will choke because they breathe through their skin. They suffocate and they die. And he says 24 hours after spray aphids have changed in color so look at those they now look like raisins
55:45 they're dehydrated um they went from nice grapes to raisins um but anyway so you spraying it directly on like that you will get it and so you have to get it foamy on the pest itself to kill it but then it should be uh safe and effective yeah that word's forever those that phrase is forever been ruined right because it certainly wasn't safe nor was it effective um so aphids in the back of pepper leaves so here he has aphids on his pepper leaves he goes in there he's like i see you i'm gonna kill you he uses the same thing
56:22 so again he killed these aphids the pesticide has been applied and they've been coated completely because of the wetting agent, right? They coat them completely. He says, after 24 hours of spray, the aphids have shrunk as moisture has evaporated, just like I told you. Now you have aphid raisins. You could package these up and sell them to birds. I'm sure they would buy them if they had currency. This is the power of Jerusalem artichoke herbal solution. Surprisingly, Jerusalem artichoke is edible for human beings. So, you know, you could spray this solution in your mouth. Probably be okay.
57:01 I don't know. Don't do it. Why is fermented seawater not a formula, not have calcium? Do I need calcium to transport the minerals in sea salt? Well, I think fermented seawater is slightly different in terms of what you are getting. fermented seawater you're mostly after the microorganisms that grow in the seawater versus the the minerals that's why you just use raw seawater with calcium to get the minerals in there versus fermented seawater is you're after the life that probably consumes those minerals and eats them themselves so slightly different thing
57:43 um so powdery aphids on yeah mostly mostly peaceful bug we're going back to the 2020 memes here um these are mostly peaceful aphids or powdery aphids on the back of peach leaves these aphids are very hard to control because of the white powder on their body which i guess is probably hydrophobic, but the power of the soap, it has wet the aphids completely, pesticide is delivered to their system. You must use soft water. So don't even think about it if you have hard water. Don't even think about it. But, you know, anything, even hydrophobic things, you can spray enough on there
58:29 and get them on there. So killing these aphids, look at them, they're dead. And all the aphids have died, not a single survivor. I bet you one survived, I bet you one flew away. Maybe, yeah, maybe not. Maybe they all turned into raisins. Along with the aphids, pesticide will kill pesky larva as well. so if they had any larva hitting hanging around this pesticide will kill it so i guess probably if you just use soap alone they would die but the herbal solution kills the larva as well so that's always a good thing look at those dead aphids wow um what is this spree ray aphid so
59:20 he's just he's just killing different types of aphids have infected the leaf of black apple trees these leaves the leaves have hair you need to spray thoroughly so you know if your plant even has mechanisms you gotta you just spray i don't know what that bug is looks like a crawdad or something um but again completely coat them you see how much he does this so you can't just be like oh spraying lightly and whatever you have to coat this stuff you have to really if you're going to use the pesticide you have to kill these things get it on them directly but he says the
59:55 wetting power is the key in pesticide. If you increase the soap, you get more wetting power. So if it's not penetrating and they're not dying, you need more soap, right? After 24 hours after spray, about 95% have been controlled. So this looks like a gnarlier aphid, maybe more robust. So 95% of them knocked back, maybe treated again. I don't know if it's always going to be 95% effective. Um, but you know, knocking them back and then making your plant healthy so that aphids are there in the first place because your plant is, um, emitting, it has, the sugars are wrong
1:00:38 and it's emitting signals that it's weak. So you can naturally get rid of aphids by improving your soil and all this. But if you don't, you just want to kill them and you just, you know, then you can do this, but aphids are leaf suckers pulling from the leaf, pulling these sugars that sometimes they're farmed by ants. Um, but, um, and ants can contribute to the problem. Um, but, um, seawater is better. Um, yeah. Um, and kill those suckers. So, so let's see here. We are, We'll start up next time with rice bacchania disease and go through these numbers here.
1:01:23 Because that was just a preview of getting through the aphids and seeing that we're going through. But we will go through these next time here of how to get rid of rice bacchania disease. And these are the recipes that are in the back of this Medaj book here. So we'll go through those next time. hopefully get through this. I think we're, I think we're on track. We are at what slide 265. And I think there's only 300, 282. So we only got 20 more slides. So we might even finish it next time. That'd be cool. Right before the selection, uh, finish that up. I think, yeah. So it's Tuesday.
1:02:05 Yeah. So right before the selection. So, you know, uh, yeah so thanks thanks for tuning in thanks for being good um seawater is always better than you know well rock salt because you got to mine it and ship it and all those things seawater you just go pick it up from the ocean it's free um grow milkweed it'll attract the aphids to it so yes that is always a good suggestion thanks stonemason it is always a smart idea to have either attractive plants that are like your sacrificial similar to how they put um
1:02:37 what are those things they call them for rust they put it in like your your water heater and stuff it's a sacrificial metal that will rust before it rusts the rest of the thing what is that called it's like a catalyst i don't want to say catalyst it's not it's like a uh no there's like specific word for it sink i don't know if sinks the right word for it there's like a sacrificial stink rod yeah sink sacrificial yeah what is it anode anode anode yes sacrificial anode yeah so milkweed can be your sacrificial anode thanks man you you're freaking on it this is yeah
1:03:19 i you know got a question ask a plumber um i tell you man thank you thank you um yeah so you can put you know, plants around to be sacrificial anodes attract them to it. Also plant repellent plants, you know, all those good things, other techniques that we can bring in. But however, we are just covering Madag here. Thanks for tuning in. Thanks for, you know, checking us out, spreading the word, going deep, finding the goods, you know, do the usual YouTube like, share, subscribe, whatever, and or don't, you know, it's up to you. Free choice. Thanks. And yeah, well, I think, is it?
1:03:58 No, no, not next time, but the following. Okay. So anyway, enjoy the last little bits of October. I'll see you in November. And right before the selection, see who's going to get in there. Who's going to be the person. We'll see. Cool. Well, thanks for being part of this. Thanks for doing the right thing. Thanks for being a good person. Thanks for setting a good example and contemplating the higher concepts, bringing them into life and being them because without you, we would be lost. So thanks. I'll see you next week. Have a good one. We'll see you next time.
