Jadam Rice Wash Water, IMO-3 Troubleshooting, Animal Feed Preview
Drake closes out an 11-month walk through Jadam Organic Farming. He answers whether pasta water can stand in for rice wash water (yes, for catching LAB, though KNF medicine itself has none), confirms wheat grain wash water also grows LAB, and explains that sugar helps LAB survive stomach acid down to about pH 2. 14:39 um large so nathaniel just bioremediated a large burn pit with imo and backfilled the slope before we got torrential rain the hillside held in place with terraces nice yeah do some keyline permaculture good uh soil practices and i've been soil drenching this past week we uh been making the manure tea, drenching, getting, you know, embodying the spirit of midage and, uh, drenching that poop slurry everywhere. Stinkier is better. No, it's not. I've been mixing. Um, so what I've been doing is taking 55 gallon drum, put in about five gallons of manure from the cow.
15:24 and then all every day we wash our milk equipment with water vinegar and then lab we run each three of those so it's two and a half gallons of each of those run through the machine just to clean it and then once a week we do a deep clean in the machine just to keep it but on the daily basis we're just using vinegar water vinegar and lab and each of those produces two and a half gallons of effluent, I guess you could call it. And we dump that into the manure. So it's getting, the vinegar actually is dumped out. Um, but the, um, the milky water and the LAB water
16:03 go into the manure. And so then subsequently it's a poo jacuzzi. It's nice and warm. It's floating there, stir it a little bit, keep it nice. Um, but it doesn't get that stinky and it's now, you know putting making i don't know poo jacuzzi water gross stuff but it's regenerating the pastures and our pastures are so lush it's incredible over since 2020 we've been doing this and man i tell you three master chose right three years of doing natural farming things just start to take off on their own and be amazing and the grass is so lush in the parts that we've really
16:42 been treating the other parts not as much you can and you can tell in the amount of milk we get because when she's on the rich pasture we get um about an extra half gallon of milk when she's on the nice parts of the pasture and when she's on the other part it's it's too steep really i gotta terrace it out or do something if i really wanted to do it and or just keep drenching it and that's what i'm gonna do look at sow in the house yo um yeah the same view you would get off the back of his head so anyway um looking forward to all that

Um, can I use the water from cooking pasta instead of rice wash water for KNF medicine? Uh, almost, but KNF medicine does not have rice wash water in it. So, um, you can use that starchy

The KNF protectors, you can catch them on starchy water from pasta water most definitely um but the medicine doesn't have the um doesn't have the rice wash water in it in fact in fact since um most pasta has egg in it yeah but proteins starches they're gonna catch microbes they're gonna do good um yeah this book here this book here, this old publication by Master Cho it actually does it talk about it? rice, wash, water no, maybe it doesn't

22:22 And yeah, wheat grain wash water will support different strains of LAB totally. Yeah. KNF protectors, yeah. Yeah, KNF protectors is better. Yeah, make it that way. Why not use rice water? You know, so rice water, you are going to get different strains of things. It's just like different foods. You put them out, different things are going to colonize. You can use potatoes. You can use breadfruit. You can use ulu. You could use, or ulu and breadfruit are the same. You can use cassava. You can use manioc. You could use any of those, any starch. You could use white bread.
23:04 Any starch is going to make that different. And yeah, may affect later outcomes. Yeah, all that has an effect, right? It's just like if you're doing radio and it's like, you're talking about antennas. It's like everything affects an antenna. It's just like the same with biology. It's like what food you put out there is going to make it. Does LAB survive stomach acid? What helps the LAB survive the stomach acid is when you mix it with the sugar. So once you supersaturate it with the sugar, the sugar helps it go through your stomach acid

So some people are like, well, I don't want to eat the sugar, but the sugar actually helps it get through your stomach acid into your gut so if you're drinking lab for stomach health definitely super saturated it helps um and does it you know lab can handle a lot of it can handle tons of acidity i think down to like a 2 ph um which i don't know you know so drink some water with your lab dilute it drink it it'll get through it'll do its thing you could also beer bong it up your butt if you were wild um you know hey why not um so anyway

And then how do you use them? Well, here's the

So if you're using just OHN by itself, you're probably not doing it right.
