IMO4 Pig Feed, LAB Without Milk, Disgustingly Cheap Microbes
Drake opens with the I Ching (Hexagram 40, Deliverance) then debuts my-pigs.com, a livestream where viewers can watch his pig Bebe and feed her papaya through a website button. Viewers in Seattle and Panama fed her live on air.
Questions cover KNF Protectors (LAB): using milk as a purification step versus rice wash water alone, which peaks with lactobacillus in three to seven days. He also covers mixing batches made weeks apart, and cleaning a motor-oil drum by dosing KNF Protectors 1:500 with sugar for a week. For IMO3, Drake suggests ground wheat berries, corn, or coffee grounds when dog food and mill run are not available.
He walks through the nine core KNF solutions and seven combined formulas, the solution calculator app, and how to premix a maintenance concentrate of food, cleanser, medicine, and structure while keeping Protectors separate until use. For bananas, he recommends fish-waste piles topped with wood chips, IMO, and LAB instead of digging holes.
Closing questions: soaking biochar in nutrients before adding IMO, using two-year-old fermented noni diluted in water, and the IMO4 recipe, 10% IMO4 moistened with maintenance solution, for feeding pigs and chickens.
Questions answered
- 8:10 Does gathering IMO from above your farm's elevation hurt microbe survival? — No, coming down in elevation is easier on microbes than going up, so gather from higher, similar-climate ground nearby.
- 11:15 Does LAB (KNF Protectors) have to be made with milk, or can cabbage work? — Milk is a purification step since lactobacillus outcompetes other microbes for the lactose; rice wash water, sauerkraut, kimchi, or fish amino acid also carry LAB.
- 14:15 Do you teach KNF classes on Oʻahu? — Better to come see it working at the farm than to recreate it on Oʻahu, though he would help organize an event there.
- 16:03 What can replace dog food and mill run as an IMO3 substrate in Panama? — Use whatever microbes will eat, such as ground wheat berries, corn, or coffee grounds, and check it under a microscope.
- 19:50 How do you clean a 55-gallon drum that had motor oil in it? — Dilute KNF Protectors 1:500 with a little molasses or sugar, add to the drum, and let it sit a week to eat out the oil.
- 20:35 Is it okay to mix LAB batches made two weeks apart, or use them one by one? — Keep them sealed and use the oldest bottle first rather than mixing them.
- 21:10 Can you make LAB without the milk purification step since milk is expensive? — Yes, just use fresh rice wash water straight, which peaks with lactobacillus in three to seven days depending on temperature.
- 22:49 As an absolute beginner, where should I start with KNF? — Start with KNF Protectors (LAB) and KNF Food; recipes are in the Recipe Book at knfsupport.com.
- 25:50 Planting bananas in April, should I mound compost and apply IMO? — Yes, build a pile of fish waste topped with wood chips, IMO, and LAB, then plant into the mound instead of digging holes.
- 28:07 What can be mixed into disgustingly cheap microbes for weekly spraying? — During the 24 to 36 hour peak window, mix in food, cleanser, medicine, and structure solutions to make a maintenance or leaf-growth spray.
- 32:22 How do the KNF solutions fit together? — There are nine core solutions combined into seven general formulas for stages like leaf growth, blooming, fruiting, and maintenance.
- 35:49 Can you premix all the KNF solutions ahead of time? — Yes, premix maintenance solution of food, cleanser, medicine, and structure for about a month, but add Protectors fresh right before use.
- 41:20 Where's the recipe using IMO4 to make feed for chickens and pigs? — Add about 10% IMO4 to the feed and moisten it with maintenance solution.
- 48:22 Should charcoal soak in IMO tea, or just in nutrients with IMO added after? — Soak biochar in nutrients first and add IMO after, so the microbes move into the char on their own.
- 49:00 Any use for a two-year-old jar of well-fermented noni? — Dilute it with water and put it out to feed microbes in the soil.

0:00 hey aloha and welcome to korean natural farming office hours for march 20th 2022 um sorry i had this is a third time trying this broadcast um today had some technical difficulties um swapped out my camera and the mic and all kinds of things this past week uh trying to set what I'm going to show you in a bit. So just hopefully this is all live. I'm going to check it out right now and see what is going on, if it actually is live. But anyway, while that's going
0:48 and I'm checking in on that, I wanted to start with a bit of the I Ching for today. and the one I got was Deliverance, which is no longer on the page, but it's number 40 here. Hey Patrick, how's it? So it must be live if folks are in there, but let me just double check. my internet also is shifting um so just double checking these things it looks like it is on the internet yay hey aloha yeah sorry sorry for um all that but hey hey tyler how's it hope hope
1:37 things are good up in Northern California there. So today, deliverance, a change in attitude delivers you from difficulties. The hexagram, hisse, signals the beginning of deliverance from danger, tensions, and difficulty. Thank God. The I Ching instructs you here both on the cause of deliverance and how you must act in order to fully benefit from it. Deliverance is always caused by a change in our attitude. The higher power uses conflicts and obstacles to teach us lessons that we refuse to learn in an easier way, but they only darken our doorstep until we have
2:22 acknowledged the lesson. So long as we ignore or resist difficulty, it remains our constant companion. As soon as we accept its presence as a sign that some self-correction is needed, our deliverance begins. Truly, the only way to dispel trouble and regain peace of mind is to change our attitude. The I Ching also teaches us that we have several responsibilities once deliverance begins. The first is to forgive the misdeeds of others. the image of this hexagram is a powerful rainstorm washing away what is unclean this then is a time to clean every slate and begin anew
3:11 meeting others halfway with gentleness and peace next we're advised to restore our inner balance and see that it's maintained deliverance offers a return to equanimity and we must avail ourselves to the opportunity conscientiously. Finally, we're counseled not to try to force progress, even though the time is beneficial. If we have truly changed our attitude, we have become detached, innocent, modest, and accepting. In this state, we allow the progress to unfold naturally and according to the will of the
3:52 sage. So those are good kind words when I've got technical difficulties to change my attitude, showing up, being present here this Sunday as office hours for Korean Natural Farming, and good to see some new folks, some experienced folks, all kinds of good people joining in. and what I wanted to do was to show you a little bit about what I've been working on this past week since you're tuned in here and I got this screen up over here to transition like
4:42 that. And now this website here is mypigs.com. And this is my Korean natural farming pig pen right here. And one of my pigs, Bebe, and her rooster companion, Chiggs. And if everything works out. I don't know, because I'm live streaming this back to you, and I'm live streaming this down, and this is running just out of my pig pen, but I think you can see, you know, Chig's moving around there. So I'm setting this up as a kind of thing that people around the world, I think live streaming
5:38 is going to be the next thing. But I just sit here, look at my pigs, see them doing their thing. I can make it full screen even. I see chigs moving around. But this is a Korean natural farming pig pen. This size pen is a 12 by 14 designed for BB to have babies in here. And Jigs moved in to just kind of stir it up and keep the floor alive. How's it everybody? Yeah good to see you guys. and um so anyway just kind of live broadcasting the pigs to the world here
6:28 and over there's a bin of papaya that I have and I load it up into this thing on this side which this is a little machine here and when I get out of the full screen here this little machine has three papayas in it. And by pushing this button here to feed a papaya this little machine drops one of the three papayas that are loaded up in this tube here. And through the internet you can actually feed my pigs. so I wanted to share that with you guys you know if somebody goes there clicks on it
7:21 you too can feed my pigs through the internet and eventually we'll be maybe setting that up so it'll financially support these pigs because each papaya feed to them has a cost associated with it, and it's pretty fun to do through the internet. So if anyone goes my-pigs.com, you can see this. It's kind of a prototype right now, but I want to see what happens as more people tune into it. Check out my pigs, and this one's looking at BB and Chigs. So anyway, hope you guys enjoy that, and I'm going to switch
8:04 back over here. And got a question here that Joe is asking that Master Cho says to collect microbes from 40 feet above the elevation of your farm. Would collecting microbes from higher elevations than this affect their ability to survive. Well, so it's all about climate here. And what you're wanting to do is if you gather, just like Olympic athletes train at higher elevation, and then if you compete at a lower elevation, you're going to have that competitive advantage because you're used to that harsher conditions of the higher climate. So like training up in the
8:54 high mountains and then competing down at sea level, your body will be able to absorb more oxygen. And so similar with this, like this, this microbial thing of just like coming from a higher elevation down isn't as hard as going from a lower elevation up, like your ears pop, but, um, but coming down, it's not, it's not as, uh, you know, pressure prone. Um, those, those are the ideas um here on mauna kea my friend david gathered imos from i think the nine eight thousand or eight thousand ten thousand foot level of mauna kea um we've we've gathered it from um
9:37 halipohaku up there there's some really nice um mamane forests and really deep leaf litter with with microbes that are really like, you know, it's, it's cool weather. So it took two weeks to gather here up on the Mauna. Um, but that, um, yeah, we, we brought those down, we mixed them in, you know, we got a good IMO2 collection from, from up there. I think, um, diversity is where it's at. You know, if you're looking for efficiency and, um, and those things stick, stick to you know what's right there on your farm but definitely um you know make a collection from
10:20 from your mountain from your area you know climactically you want something similar but bringing that natural diversity down you know where i am here all the forests and everything this was all sugarcane land so there's no natural forest left it was all bulldozed and then all put into cattle from, you know, from all around me. And on my property, there's here, there's about a hundred foot difference between one side to the other in elevation at least. Um, so, you know, 40 feet is a small window. I usually gather from a bamboo tree that's just down the hill about,
11:01 it's probably 10, 15 feet down, you know, it's 200 feet away, but down that far. So, um, you know um yeah gathering from a good spot makes sense okay so ara is asking does lab the knf protectors have to be made with milk or can they be cultured with cabbage or other vegetables as well so understanding that um that those those um the lab that are in milk milk acts as a purifying agent so if i take the
11:50 the collection from from the starch water collecting in the air which is you know step one is make starch water let it collect in the air that's going to have a bunch of different things living in there. It'll have LAB plus a broad family of other microbes that live there. Then when I pour it into the milk, what happens is it's a purifying step. So primarily the lacto being dominant in your rice wash water, as you pour it into the milk, it then is able to eat the lactose faster than the other bacterias which don't have that readily available starch anymore.
12:30 so as you don't add the starch water in you just add the milk then they're able to the the lactobacillus are able to take off the fastest so it acts as a purification step to a degree because all the rest of those bacteria that land in that milk don't have stuff to drink or or sugar to break down there are other ways of culturing lactobacillus however um you know you know um like sauerkraut kimchi, even the fish amino acid, the KNF fuel has lactobacillus in it. So you're getting it from multiple sources all over, but the putting lacto in milk, the whole reason for that is like
13:17 a purification step. Because I could just use the starch wash water that I catch, right? That is at its peak, it's lactobacillus primarily. And I can use that, but it doesn't last the same way. And it's not purified. It's not grown out with its lactose that it likes to eat. So that's the reason for using milk in, in that it has just tons of lactose to break down, but there's a lot of different other recipes to make lactobacillus. Um, and it's, it'd be great to do comparisons. um a guy joe grows shout out to joe grows um he just did a uh comparison of lab in a closed ferment
14:00 versus an open ferment and it was an interesting science that he did and um should should check out his results and see what what he's talking about um so tons tons to learn about lab um so and scully is asking do i do um classes on oahu or do you have to fly to helo uh it's for me what i you know like learning here at the farm i think is is worth it for for people um it's if if you want me to come teach someplace you know oahu could organize an event to do that But really, if you want to learn seeing it here in action versus coming to Oahu and trying to recreate what I have here.
14:53 There's a bunch of other folks there. I was just talking to brother Daniel Anthony. And he was talking about something similar that I was talking about. which is just like spraying the whole cities up with the microbes, just these, you know, populous areas like the sidewalks, the things that the city sprays around up on, going and taking these microbes and just spraying them all over the city. So hopefully, you know, events and things like that will come about on Oahu here, you know, meeting up to go spray our whole
15:38 neighborhoods and everything, you know, teach on the streets. So yeah, check out Brada Daniel Anthony. He's always pounding poi. um what's up post up from bocas de toro panama we have limited availability of green ingredients we need to find a better source for im03 can you explain the carbon carb relationship to tropical climates and options for substrates aside from dog food and melran oh man yeah if you don't want um dog food and melron um you know start starting if um
16:28 starting to do the the disgustingly cheap microbe solution you know um yeah why why not that's um It's a place to start. Let's see here. I'm going to pull this up on this screen over here. so if in the in the book here you know if you if you don't um what does it say under im03 let's look at it here. So this is the page on IMO 3.
17:26 and what does it say? It says one, one gallon of water for every 10 pounds of mill run. That's what it says here in the, in the book, you know, um, in a 50 pound minimum. Um, so using horse feed, use something like that. Um, and, or, you know, like find you're looking for a substrate you're looking for something that um microbes will eat you know um a brewery amended with like potato uh powder something like that um you know uh faith was just faith just text me, um, she's in Iowa and she was saying that she has, um, dry whole wheat berries and
18:27 whole organic corn and some coffee grounds that she wants to incorporate, um, in any ratios of that. um you know i think uh if you grind those things you're going to get better results you don't have to grind them super full um but but um and half half of that of the other one and then just add a little bit of coffee grounds i don't know i'm getting getting creative with whatever you have and getting a microscope to verify that your substrates are working um and the other solution too is to go and make just this disgustingly cheap microbe solution where you just take
19:13 you know these microbes which are you know just from your soil basically right under your compost pile that nice soil that's nice and dark throw that into here with some water some food some sea salt and let it brew and get the bubbles, um, and make these type of microbes, you know, um, that's the key is just to put microbes out there in the soil on a regular basis or to get them established so that then you're able to feed them and keep them alive. So however you're going to do that, um, it's a bunch of recipes to do it. eyewitnesses looking for 55 gallon drums
19:58 and a lot of them had motor oil so just put the KNF protectors in there dilute them one to one to 500 and maybe a little bit of molasses or sugar with them and leave it for a week and it should eat out all that motor oil out of the drum get them clean for you. And thank you, Jennifer, for kicking down Super Chat, supporting the show. Yeah, it's good to get support here. Patrick is saying he's made lactic acid bacteria at two-week intervals and has three bottles in the fridge at the moment. Is it good to mix them or should
20:47 you use them one by one. I would just leave them sealed and use your oldest one first and then open the next one to use. That way, you know, not contaminating them and just leave them sealed in the fridge. Milk is expensive. You're hoping to make LAB out of cabbage if possible. So the whole thing is like in the beginning of the process, like with rice wash water, you're making LAB. So if you're saying milk is expensive, then just make it from the rice wash water, you know, and just, you know, make it fresh from that all the time.
21:36 The first three to seven days, you should have pretty good lactobacillus in there. It depends on your temperature. If it's really cold, maybe it's two weeks. But just using lactobacillus as a spray mist on things, but that rice wash water has high concentrations of lactobacillus in it. So if you don't want to go through the milk purification step, look online. People have different vegan recipes that they do as well. I think using beans in a refrigerator and, you know, there's lots of ways to make LAB. It's a really common microbe.
22:22 And even, you know, buying commercial EM, you'll get lacto, purple non-sulfur bacteria and some yeasts. and so if you get those you know use even that commercial product and use that instead of the IMO then maybe that's money saved for you and you know you're using a lab grown one but the KNF recipe is a natural one but idea is you got microbes and got them out there you know and those are some of the best in the world um so Johnny is saying he's an absolute beginner to KNF, where should I start with the KNF protectors? Like I was just saying, it's one of the best
23:03 places to start. Here's the recipe right here. But you can also, you know, this is my book at knfsupport.com. But here's the recipe. You basically put, you know, starchy water in a collection container, mix it with milk, it separates into curds and whey, and you add sugar and stir this together and store it, this is your lactobacillus. For me, this whole process takes about five days, maybe three days here, three days here, maybe six days, seven days from the start to the finish, about a week to make lactobacillus. So if you're an absolute beginner, start here, make this recipe,
23:52 go to KNF support, get the book, read up on this recipe, make it, do it. And so, yeah, so if you, if you, there is a lot to understand, you know, but just tuning into the office hours at KNF support. Also, there's a whole bunch of resources there, you know um folks can share their story of you know where they started um i talked interviewed a few people hey how's it and um you know i try try to interview more people here on this show so they can share their experience of where they started um you know planting a few
24:34 things um another another super simple recipe to make is the can of food because everything starts with food, right? If you're full of food, it's hard to, you know, if you're going to try and grow microbes in you, there's no food. It's like put the food there first and then the microbes will just naturally come and appear. And this recipe here as well of gathering plant material, mixing it together with sugar, packing it in a jar, allowing it to ferment, collecting and super saturating, you know, these, these recipes just start with one of them. Um,
25:17 these, these are the starting points for everything. And once you have these and you've used food and the protectors together, then you, you will have achieved a whole lot more of, um, than yeah, yeah. Doing for your environment. yeah welcome you guys all around the world um let's see hey thanks thanks for yeah thanks for tuning in um let's see i'll go back to this view over here hello um i'm planning on planting bananas here in april should i be planting a low mound of compost and apply imo
26:02 it sound good um i i should probably make a updated video of what i've been doing but you were you were just here and you saw um i just so what i've been doing is making like pile tech for planting bananas for planting sugarcane drop a pile of fish waste and then on top of that drop wood chips or put IMOs all over it and spray it with LAB which really helps reduce the smell then drop wood chips on top of that and spray that with LAB and soak that with IMO and then planting around that and just planting where try not to dig holes but
26:50 planting up and building soil up with the IMOs, especially bananas do really well around those piles, mounding them up. You just don't want the fish to burn them and the maggots and all that. It's, you know, nature comes and does its thing and starts breaking it down, but those piles just are so energy rich and just, yeah, amazing. Same thing to help a wheat coconut drop one of those piles on top. Um, but otherwise drilling, drilling holes, I, I, you know, if you can, if you, if your soil allows that drilling holes and then filling those with fish waste or,
27:31 um, compost and, uh, IMOs and, um, you know, make that a place where you, you dump in a bunch of, um, and by a bunch, I mean like seawater diluted one to 30 and dump that into the hole and restore the minerals and the microbes and the fish and you know i mean just spraying maintenance solution all those things um so hang on so post up is saying when we spray the disgustingly cheap microbes we add minerals protectors food is the process on the rest but can we mix
28:23 what can we mix in with the disgustingly cheap microbes when spraying weekly so the you know the disgustingly cheap microbes here um let's see where they at these ones so once you make these it's just it's just the microbes the water um in this case you're growing them on potatoes and minerals but then once i have this and i'm in they start off and it's they start to grow and i'm in this window of time like 24 to 36 hours here in hawaii maybe longer for other folks maybe a day or two but this window when i have peak
29:03 of good microbes versus peak fertilizer microbes but peak these microbes i can mix in all those other KNF solutions. Like why not add food diluted in there? You know, why not just follow this recipe right here and be like, okay, I want to add, I want to do maintenance. So I'll add in food, cleanser, medicine, structure, and then those disgustingly cheap microbes as well. You know, I want to do a leaf solution. So I'll add in food, cleanser, medicine, and structure fuel and protectors plus the, those microbes, all, all these things, you know, that's
29:41 what, that's what these formulas are. They just kind of help you understand, like, I know how, how should I put these things together? How should I do it? How do you, oh, how do you donate directly to me? Um, oh, I got the link. Yeah. Pat, Patrick, uh, I want to shout out to Patrick. Uh, he, He did a donation the other day and the direct to me donation. Let's see here. I got to go into this to add it to the chat, but I'm going to I'm going to pin it to the top of the chat. Oh, I wonder, was I was I not sharing my screen that whole time?
30:28 when I was talking about the, let's see, hang on, hang on, let me see. I'm going to put this up here and go into this and this. Hang on one sec. I got to go pin a comment in here and hopefully it doesn't lag up too bad. okay so let me go back to this screen and make sure that what I was sharing with you
31:16 oh I'm in the back there let's see I'll put this in the background and then put this in the foreground. So let me make sure. Yeah. Okay. So sharing. So, okay. So from the disgustingly cheap microbes, I, cause I'm not sure I was sharing my screen there, but using, using these solutions here. So if I'm watering out diluting food, cleanser, medicine structure into something, it's just a maintenance solution. Plus, plus those disgustingly cheap microbes. And then I was saying like a leaf one, you know, which is food, cleanser, medicine, structure, fuel, and protectors, all of these ratios per
31:55 gallon. And, um, and if you don't want to calculate that, you know, in, in your head, which is something I don't want to do. I also have the app, which is a KNF solution calculator. Um, and here, and you can put in, you know, how, how many gallons you want to make. Like, if I want to make nine gallons, just calculate that out and it gives me all the, all the dilutions to put in. And so always, always combining these, you know, that's the whole point of KNF. Where do I begin? It's like, it's like, basically you got to understand, um, in natural farming that there's
32:36 basically like, you know, there's nine solutions. There's, there's more, but nine, nine core solutions, nine vital solutions, uh, here. and and from these nine it's so there's you know it's not that hard then these they're combined into seven kind of general formulas which you can modify as a as a you know a farmer you're going to hybridize this of course but these are just telling you kind of what to use for and and you know in in general how to how to do this um and then here's a table on how to combine
33:10 them all, you know, and once you make these mixtures, like say you want to grow leaves, okay, well, this formula, say I want to make it, it's blooming, okay, this formula, say I want it to fruit, okay, this formula, it's about to harvest, this formula, you know, soil, okay, seed, right, maintenance, okay, all these things, you know, you're doing all the time, and so adding these into these microbes to know how to do these things. Um, yeah. Yeah. And yeah. People love the happy use it all the time. Right. Cause I, cause I'm always diluting things, you know,
33:45 I mean, for me, I have a 40 gallon sprayer, which takes one liter of maintenance really easy. It's like, I can just dump that in and be set to go, um, for 40 gallons, um, one liter really easy. and yeah learning how to make those things do these things this is what natural farming is all about you know so understanding these things these ratios you know the why the how like all that the theory into it it's it's so deep it's like learning all this but if you just follow these general formulas and just go at it and go you know with this um you know this nutrient cycle which is
34:25 crooked here, which, yeah, just, you know, and you just go through, make these solutions, put it all together, like this, yeah, anyway, that's how to get started with natural farming, and if you are good at it, then sharing it with others, making these solutions, helping people transition their farms, you know, all these great things we can do, growing your amazing produce. Um, okay. Yeah. So, so, um, that's, uh, Nathaniel's asking, can you pre-mix all these? And, um, yeah, yeah. Go ahead. Pre-mix all these things, uh, for about,
35:11 uh, um, a month or so. Um, I'd, I'd, I'd avoid putting their protectors in there as a concentrate. Um, maybe just add those right at the end. Um, Um, cause yeah, they can cause some interesting, you know, it's like you're adding lactobacillus to all this and with the vinegar, everything they can get kind of messed up, but yeah, go ahead, pre-mix it, make it, make it easy for yourself. Um, you know, try to use fresh things that taste good. Always, um, you know, your nose, nose test. If you smell it and it smells rank to you, it smells like it's really gross.
35:49 you know don't don't use it you know but all these things should taste good should be good don't mix these with the you know the disgustingly cheap microbes until you're going to use them don't pre-mix any of the microbes into this stuff here um at all but make those as pre-mixes and i encourage you to actually make this maintenance formula as a pre-mix and to use it you know, 25 milliliters per gallon. So the food, the cleanser, the medicine, the structure here, this maintenance formula here, I encourage you to pre-mix this.
36:27 So food, cleanser, medicine, structure, all these mixed in to make a maintenance concentrate and then using the concentrate at, you know, 25 mils per gallon. as just something that makes life easy, something I do. Yeah, so any other questions on that? Or go back to my pigs and see. Has anyone fed a papaya yet? No, looks like no one's fed a papaya yet. So wait, maybe someone will do it. see maybe maybe i'll do it and see what happens here well will it work or did the rats eat all
37:15 the papayas overnight let's see so for the first time ever on live um youtube i'm going to try and click this feed of papaya and see what happens oh i saw it fall i saw it fall i don't know if you saw it fall it fell right from this feeder down oh look she's is she gonna get up chigs chigs is interested she's she's taking a nap though even though there's papaya there and there there's the machine reloading you can see it
38:00 reloading there oh is she gonna get up chigs is interested oh my the machine reloaded there is she gonna get up and eat that papaya here i'll turn on the chomp cam too so you can see the this this one is a little bit delayed yeah but oh she's eating that papaya okay so oh there there you see that fall in the chomp cam it's there it's right behind her butt yeah the chomp cam is a bit delayed right now but let's let's full screen the chomp cam because so it just hit her in the butt here let's see i think she's oh there chig slid off nope
38:44 so this this is just raw papayas there's no fermentation but the floor is fermented okay there she she got the papaya oh yeah oh yeah one bite that's a pretty good chomp though right I gotta get that camera down there a little better so you can see that full on chomp and just get that experience that was pretty good though that was pretty good, I'm pretty satisfied so then there's
39:32 oh nice so Let's hear my pigs Yeah Okay So PostUp is asking On pigs where can we find The recipe Using IMO4 to produce feed For chickens and pigs It works Yeah that was pretty sweet I can't believe it works Yeah so that's My-pigs.com and yeah it worked so i want to see if it works if someone else does it it's just me i'm here on the farm right i'm watching both the cams so if someone
40:21 else feeds a papaya see that she's sitting down again i'll share that screen while while we're going here so you can see what i'm seeing you see how the chomp cams kind of delayed i i was i got to figure that out so that I wanted to have a thing where it's like chomps of the day, you know, and you can vote for which one is the best. Cause right now I only can only fit three papaya in the machine, but eventually I want to have like 15, 20 papayas in there. And then, you know, I'll have like 20 chomps of the day and see which one is the best and acknowledge who,
40:56 who chomps them and who's able to feed the pigs. And I'm going to, I have those keys there. So I'm to give out keys for people to unlock the machine and unlock the cams and all that. So, um, anyway, that's the scheme. That's the thing. You can see the pigs as, yeah, I've been enjoying hooking my pigs up to the internet because I really want to share this deep litter system with people. Um, and the IMO4 recipe to produce the feed for the chicken and pigs, basically just add 10% of IMO4 to their feed and then i had you know i moisten it with maintenance supply oh somebody did it oh
41:37 my gosh oh my gosh oh somebody else did it it works oh my god no who was it who was it admit it in the chat oh my gosh so okay it fell on the chomp cam oh this looks like it's gonna be a good chomp guys looks like it's gonna be a good chomp are we gonna be able to see it oh yeah look at that chomp oh that happy face oh my gosh it's almost positioned perfectly oh my gosh oh my gosh somebody else did it yes oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you live in a house too sustainable hallway gotta gotta have the troll hater come on what's up britta
42:25 oh yes rainbow possum farms in the house that's so sweet that is so sweet okay okay it works it works i don't know where are you at rainbow possum farms are you let me know here i want to see how how how global this mycelium is oh my poor confined pig should go see what other pig pens do bro all in in all native native hawaiians had the pigs up in in pig pens they didn't just let them run around so whoever sustainable hawaii i don't know about your sustainableness with pigs but
43:13 keeping them in nice comfortable homes is where it's at yeah they're loved and spoiled does someone else feed while i wasn't looking is it empty now i'm gonna hit refresh on this oh it's empty you guys chomped them all while i wasn't looking oh my gosh i see this is why we gotta have replays this is why we gotta have replays because i want to be able to see her Oh, she's eating it there. I know, but there's only three papayas. I gotta, I gotta add more, right? Yes. Thank you. Rainbow possum farms. Yeah. Yeah. This is a significant milestone
44:02 for the farm. That's right. Cause you guys can see this live. Everyone can watch my pigs on the internet and hopefully it's going to work. I should actually look and see if it's stress testing my server out if too many people join all it's like yes from seattle someone was able to pig feed my pigs from seattle yes how cool is that how cool how cool is that today's show brought to you by mypigs.com yes and so i was thinking here i can post like how how the pigs are fed and, and give them different things to eat. And, um, I also,
44:47 I also have more pigs than just BB and chigs. Um, and so I'm, I'm seeing what's, what can be done here in terms of, um, you know, getting, getting more, more of my pigs online. but right now thanks for dropping these things out there and glad you're glad you're a pig hunter hunter gatherers you know it's very sophisticated folks doing that kind of stuff out there and um i'm a pig farmer here that now has rock star pigs on the internet so i guess this is officially live and um you can put the recipes up there for folks
45:34 yeah and we got a couple more minutes of the office hour plus i started a little late because of the technical difficulties but looks like it's running here pretty good and happy that you guys can see these who chomped the second drop the second papaya I don't know but so eventually I'm going to have it say who who dropped it here and then you should be able to watch the chomps of the day I think we'll see if that's possible um anyway yeah so uh let's see what else is going on transition back to this yeah
46:29 any other knf questions here um let's see my pigs are too entertaining i guess so direct from pano so so today we had our pigs fed by Seattle and Panama and me and Hawaii I set the trend there I guess and there's four people viewing
47:15 oh my gosh the pigs are live and we're checking them out that's so amazing so more content to come from my pigs okay let's see transition this back so let's see here what else do we got can I have support So, yeah, let's see.
48:04 Can I support folks asking questions here? yeah so if you have any other questions you want to get into the office hours you want to get up in there okay uh eyewitnesses asking would soaking charcoal and imot be good or should i soak it in just the nutrients and add IMO after applying the biochar? You know, I like to just soak the IMOs in the nutrients and then add IMO after applying the biochar because then the IMOs
48:52 are going to move in where they want to be versus like having a liquid in there and they'll move into that char as necessary. Any use for a two-year-old jar of well-fermented noni, dilute it with water and put it out there. Oh yeah, I gotta get back to this screen. Yeah, dilute your noni with water, put it out there. It'll just help to feed some microbes someplace, and that's a good thing. So anyway, I want to thank you guys for tuning in to the office hours. I want to wrap it up for today here. You can check out all these office hours at knfsupport.com
49:38 and then here under office hours and you can get the recipe book and get involved in questions, answers for perpetuity and putting them here. So, yeah. Thanks for tuning in today. Yeah. Aloha. Long live the natural farmer. And appreciate you guys all where you're at.
