Um, it's really nice to have somebody that, um, you know, their passion is Korean natural farming, you know, whatever that means.

And, um, you know, the friendships and the, um, brotherhood and the, I don't know, sisterhood, I guess. I don't really have that many female friends this way, but, you know, uh, but yeah, just like the love that people can share through. A common bond of an activity and like, yeah, that was cool. So anyway, um, glad to, you know, just be getting into natural farming this year.

I felt, I felt this thing where, and by, I mean to encourage everyone here, um, that a lot of the people at the table, we're talking about problems.

8:32 We have, and we have some seriously critical problems. Like, um, coffee rhinoceros beetle or coconut rhinoceros beetle. I'm sure there'll be a coffee rhinoceros beetle soon too. Um, uh, CRB, you know, coffee leaf, CLF, coffee, leaf rust. I don't know. All these acronyms of stuff, things, and like afflictions and diseases that, um, are, are today. Today. Like causing problems today. But we're at a plan. We're at a meeting to plan for the next five years. And some of these problems, like, like for instance, Cokie frog or fire ants. These are like five, 10 year old problems, 20 year old problems.

9:17 I don't know, 30 year old problems. So we're 30 years back trying to solve these problems and we're here at a planning meeting for the next five, five years. And I'm, and I felt like, oh, like that's one of the issues with like government and bureaucracy is like we're five years behind, 10 years behind. And then you're trying to get things approved and then has to go through all this paperwork and then it comes back. And then now you're still, now you're 10, 15 years behind. And we're not even forward thinking at this point because the bureaucracy is actually strangling everything to death.

9:51 The compartmentalization, the bureaucracy, while it has pros, the cons are outweighing the pros at this point. And so I was at the meeting to say, Hey, let's look into the future. Like, are we going to have rapid response once we learn about these solutions? Like say, say we find bacterias or fungus that are able to mitigate the rhinoceros beetle. Are we going to be able to use drones to get it up into trees to spray where it needs to be in the canopy? Are we able to, you know, spray this on effectively with low labor over large swaths of area?

10:28 So I was trying to be really forward thinking like five years, you know, drones are today. Actually, it's like, actually, you know, the, the, the EGI, uh, Agris T100 is out today, right? You could actually have that, you know, given, given the right budget, you can have it in your, you know, here in a week. Um, so it's not, it's not actually five-year forward technology, but what's five-year forward technology is building the pipelines of workforce development, folks that want to, uh, be drone crew workforce development of folks that want to make solutions workforce development of folks

11:03 that have the eyes to see, um, how to regenerate the earth. And this is the five-year plan, right? The drone is like the activator, the, the thing that like helps us do this, the robotics, but it's, it's actually a whole workforce development. It's actually creating more jobs, which is kind of interesting while you're reducing jobs, you're just really shifting things around and allying with the, the robots in a certain sense. I mean, wild as it is, um, you know, they, they can spray an entire acre in two and a

11:33 half minutes because it's purposely built to take off and fly and spray an acre in two and a half minutes. Whereas for me to spray an acre with even another machine that I'm controlling versus letting it control itself, I'm controlling it. It's like going to take it, you know, 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes. I don't know how long, long time. Right. So this forward thinking of like, how can we, you know, put drones and get workforces, like all these things and the permitting and the bureaucracy and all these things take years to go.

12:00 So it's like, we put in the plan now and we're like, Hey, you know, it's like, first I got to go to the plan. Then I got to get approved by the plan. Then these things got to go. Right. So the long process, like, and I'm all for this, like the rapid response, all the, like I've, I've, so again on this, like, I felt like I was really a glue in the room because there were folks from, um, all, all different, um, like NRCS and USDA and acronyms, acronyms, C, C gaps, um, DOT, uh, acronyms. There are so many acronyms, like all these, all these agencies that are out there that,

12:36 that have really good people working for them that are showing up to like actually try to do stuff, but that are bogged down by like all the red tape and everything that they're trying to do and the interagency, um, communication and flow is just, oh, it's, it's just like, it's like an old machine that hasn't been maintained. And so that's where I'm trying to come in, like, or not come in. That's where I've, where I have come in as the grease, as a wheel, as you, you folks out here learning this, right? You're not necessarily going to the USDA or whatever, but like, and people around here

13:09 aren't to like learn about invasive species and pests and management and all this stuff. They come to learn natural farming and then through the natural farming, then we're able to inform about these ideas and then wrap that back in to make regenerative, healthier soils that are more resistant to the pests and invasive species. And we have biosecurity because we have actually a healthy ecosystem versus you have a sick ecosystem. How are you supposed to be biosecure, right? If you're sick and you're like weak, you're not feeling well, everything's going to knock

13:41 you down, right? But if we're healthy, then things come at us and we're like, whatever, bro, we got that, right? So that was actually the other thing I was trying to inject. I'm like, I want to get the county's policy to say that we also embrace regenerative, healthy building, not just reactionary plans, but actually pro-actionary, preventative, you know, like, and always, you know, it's like George Bush going to like kill them before they kill us. It's like, no, no, no, no, no. We're going to regenerate before we get sick, right?

14:13 We're going to eat healthy before we need to, right? And like, like you always need to eat healthy, right? But like, you don't because you're right, you know, like you can eat like crap and, and you know, your body and then you're later you pay for it, right? That's the key is like, later you pay for it. Like, let's end that idea of like, later we'll pay, let's pay now. Let's pay for the future. Let's actually work for our grandchildren and make a better thing for them and pay now. It's going to cost us a shitload to make it better for them, but that's going to be

14:41 better for them instead of this idea of like waiting and like trying to fix things that we already broke. It's like, uh, let's just stop breaking things. I mean, it's hard, right? I'm not, I'm not saying and I'm not, I'm like trying to encourage and I'm trying to be like, yes, like, and I don't want to be arrogant. Like I got all the solutions or whatever. I want to be really balanced. than this to be like, a lot of bureaucracy has made a lot of leading edge research and all kinds of things where we're still spraying, spraying poisons. And we never had to prove that the biological
