IMO Timing, Chick Egg Feed, and Cassava Planting
Office hours mixed stories with soil science. Drake described a pig-industry education day in Puna where thousands showed up to eat smoked meat but only seven or eight came to learn, a sign that farming won't take root until the agriculture underneath pigs, papaya, mac nut, sweet potato, and banana gets fixed first.
He walked through cassava as one of the fastest returns in farming: one stick planted in the ground can into 20 to 30 pieces, then multiplies again toward roughly 900 from there, with almost no labor once it's established. Keep it away from pigs, which will dig it up and eat it.
The main technical segment covered IMO, Indigenous Microorganisms. Collection takes 5 to 14 days depending on temperature, then 3 days purifying in sugar, then roughly three weeks total building it into a substrate like rice bran or horse feed, kept under 120°F while turning. Spring is the best season to collect, fall is second, summer next, winter hardest, though Drake showed a video method for collecting indoors in cold weather using leaf litter, rice, paper, and straw. He recommends beginners make basic KNF ferments like FFJ before attempting IMO.
On the farm cam, Joe and Stephen demonstrated an IMO bath and fed five-day-old chicks their first boiled egg, about an eighth to a quarter of an egg per chick, grated fine to mimic mother's milk, followed by chopped bamboo. Mark and Thomas also talked rotational grazing on a four-day move and a chicken pink eye case that improved after a lactic acid bacteria (LAB) solution was applied.
Questions answered
- 16:55 What's an easy Hawaiʻi crop almost nobody grows? — Cassava — stick a cutting in the ground and walk away, just keep it away from pigs, which will dig it up and eat it.
- 22:11 Is farming really worth it as an investment? — Drake says his cattle herd doubled through simple management, and one cassava plant can multiply toward roughly 900 pieces in two planting cycles.
- 25:59 Why won't a standalone pig co-op work in Hawaiʻi? — Because the mac nut, papaya, sweet potato, and banana industries under it are already failing from poor soil, so pigs have no feed base to stand on.
- 29:49 What's the fastest way to add value to a harvest? — Turn raw crops into a shelf-stable product, like thin-sliced, properly dried bananas, since no one wants a whole stalk of sugarcane but everyone wants the juice.
- 36:21 How often should broilers be moved in a rotational system? — Drake moves his animal pens every four days, not four times a day like some growers do.
- 37:04 What cleared up a chicken's pink eye? — A lactic acid bacteria (LAB) solution applied to the eye, following up on last week's question from Thomas.
- 41:50 How long does it take to make usable IMO? — About three weeks total: 5 to 14 days to collect, 3 days purifying in sugar, then roughly two more weeks building it into a substrate kept under 120°F.
- 42:35 What's the best season to collect IMO? — Spring is best, fall is second, summer is next, and winter is hardest.
- 46:10 Should a beginner start by making IMO? — No — make basic KNF ferments like FFJ first and only move to IMO once those feel routine.
- 46:54 Can IMO be collected in cold weather? — Yes — bring the forest indoors using leaf litter and dirt in a box, moisten it, and cover it with paper and straw.
- 49:03 How much boiled egg do you feed baby chicks? — About an eighth to a quarter of an egg per chick starting around day five, grated fine to mimic mother's milk.
- 51:14 Why let chicks frenzy over their food? — The scramble to reach it builds their lung capacity and strength, not just fills their stomachs.

1:30 Good day. Good time to be doing natural farming, as always. Because when's not a good time to be doing natural farming? I don't know. I can't think of one. Maybe you could. Maybe it's, uh... I don't know. Every time. Even after you die, you should still be doing natural farming. You should inoculate yourself with lactobacillus and just, you know, die somewhere peacefully under a plant you love. Um... Yeah. So, uh... Welcome to Office Hours. Uh... We got a full hour. You can ask any question Korean natural farming related and or otherwise. Uh... Brought to you by Pure KNF Foundation.
2:08 Spreading the words and the wisdom of the great Master Cho. And keeping his legacy alive in the most way. The best way I know possible. Which is to continually, um... Share his message with you. Because I think that's what he really ultimately wanted in all of his... What he was doing. And all the drama and stuff that befell him. Um... That he was just trying his best. To get this word out there. He would cry when he'd talk about how it can heal the Earth. Um... Because truly, I believe it is, um... Maybe not the only way. But definitely one of the best ways to get to a restored Earth.
2:47 Restored people. Restored animals. Restored air. Restored ocean. Restored space. Restored communities. Restored, um... Communities? Did I say communities already? I don't know. Anyway, um... Restoring everything that is important to actual humanity. Um... Yeah. So... Welcome to the Office Hour. And, uh... So ask any question you want in the chat. Um... Also, today is our membership meeting. So we will be... At 2pm Hawaiian Standard Time. If you're a member of the Pure KNF Foundation. Uh... We have a membership meeting where we can Zoom together. Um...
3:27 I think we're going to be covering some topic. I'm not exactly sure what it is. Um... But I'm sure it'll be great. And, um... More opportunity to... Gather the, um... What you call... You guys. Instead of me out. You guys together. Which is great. Because, uh... That's an important part of it. It's not just... You know, it's good to have strong leadership. But it's also good to have a good community. More than just a great audience. So I appreciate you being here today. Um... Tuning in. And, uh... Before I get too far into anything. Uh... Let us start with a bit of higher wisdom. Because...
4:05 You know, every time I say, What the hell else are we doing? So today... Today is splitting apart. Splitting apart. Do not attempt to intervene now. A period has been entered Where inferior influences will prevail. Even a superior person who seeks to act now Will be undermined by the time. There's no reason to resist this state of affairs. Indeed. It is natural. That the inferior influences Periodically come to the fore. Adversity is often a stimulant To our spiritual growth.
4:52 And what is important Is the spirit In which we meet it. When challenging times come to call We are often overwhelmed With feelings of anxiety Doubt Or fear We fear that if we do not act Immediately And vigorously We will be ruined We doubt the power Of the creative To resolve the situation Favorably It is when we act Upon these feelings We engage in splitting Apart We split apart From our spiritual path Our devotion
5:37 To the higher power And the wisdom Of patient Non-action In the face Of difficulty If you take this course now You will Prevent the creative From coming to your aid And unnecessarily Increase Your own misfortune The guide to proper behavior At such times Lies in the image Of the hexagram Which is the mountain Over earth By keeping still And quiet As a mountain By resting firmly On your foundation Of proper principles By accepting the nature Of the time
6:23 And not resisting it You weather all storms By trusting in non-action Acceptance And patience You gain the strength Of the very earth Yeah Yeah Yeah Well You know Goes up Goes down Comes around I guess Splitting apart The story I was going to share With you Is yesterday I went out to Pahoa Good old Puna And My hometown No I'm not I mean I'm not from Pahoa But I'm from Puna If you couldn't tell By my Extremely articulate
7:09 Voice I know some people Are like There's no one from Puna Anyway But Yeah So I went to Do the educational Component Of the smoke up Festival Which apparently At the smoke up Festival There was something Like A couple thousand People Thousand at least Thousand Two hundred Two thousand I don't know I wasn't there I was at The farmers union Convention With all the Regenerative folks But about a thousand People came to Eat different Smoked meat And drink And get Bulligerent I mean I shouldn't I shouldn't I'm splitting apart I should just
7:55 Let people do They want to Drink poison Mild poison For Leisure reasons Hey go for it That's your deal That's not mine And I can accept that But Then the educational Component came Right And it's to talk About the piggeries Right How are we going to Actually put solutions in And out of two thousand People Guess how many Folks were there Drop it in the Comments Let's see How many How many people Do you think Showed up Besides the Organizer So there's There's two Two folks Organizing And the educators There were three Folks Oh and myself Included There to educate You think there's Twenty
8:35 You think there Was twenty How many Do you think They're there Zero Hey Mark is close So far He got the low Two hundred Two hundred Optimistic here I like Do fifteen Okay Okay Okay Um Any other guesses Let's give you Give you a second Here Guess Guess Guess What do you think Um It's like Price is right I think that You can bid But if you Overbid You lose Um So With it The way it is Right now I would give you Three more seconds Seven Rainbow Possum Farm Is gonna Come in There pretty Hot Oh Anyone else Anyone else Seven
9:22 Twenty You guys are Way too Optimistic Let me just Tell you You're way Too optimistic Way too Optimistic Rainbow Possum Farm And Mark But see Mark Mark lived In Puna So he knows More of What Is expected Mark Um You can lead A horse To water But you Can't make Them think Yeah Yeah Um Actually Rainbow Possum Farm Will give You the Win here Because it Was about Seven to Eight folks Um Yeah Yep Yep So and of Those Of those Only two Were actual Pig farmers Only two So Mark
10:07 I don't know If you take The actual Pig farmers People are Interested in The knowledge Right But they're Like Kapuna There was Some Kapuna There Which I'm Not By any Means Like Don't Don't Don't Don't Get me Wrong I'm Stoked On Kapuna I'm Stoked On Anyone Being There Stoked On Anyone Learning This Information Sharing It Because That's How it Grows That's How it Gets Out There But Of Helping People To Like Actually Make Any Difference In The Pig Industry You know Having People That Are Pig Producers Knowing Growing Pigs People Interested Backyard Pigs All Kinds Of Stuff Because KNF Scales From
10:41 The Backyard All The Way Up To Hundreds Of Pigs Thousands Of Pigs Although Thousands Of Pigs Now You're Into This Whole Logistics Of Feed And Feed Becomes The Issue Somewhere ! Somewhere Between 8 And 2 8 2 Should Have Taken A Photo I Didn't Take Photos I'm Trying To Get Back Into My No No You're Actually Right Mark You're Actually Closer To Between You And Rainbow Possum You're Closer To The To The Win There Of Thousands Of People Show Up To Eat How Many People Show Up To Do And It's Like Next To No One Right Who You Know Who Wants To Eat
11:28 So Splitting Apart For This Message For This Bit Is Like So Right But What Do I Do I Just Harden And Turn Myself Into A Freaking Mountain Get The Power Of The Earth Because It's Water Off My Back I Don't Care Right I Already Know That The Famine Is Inbound Bro And It's Because Of Stuff Like This Right We Go Out We Do This Thing But Who Who Wants To Grow The Food No Nobody I Mean You Guys Do You Guys Do So I Shouldn't I Don't Want To Get Too Down On This Of Like Split Apart Too Much Because If You're Here You Probably Grow Some Food And God Bless You For That God Bless You For That Let Me Tell
12:09 You Because You Are Some Of The Rare ! Themselves In The Land Trying To You Know Follow What The Chemical Companies Tell Them To Do You're Actually Having Fun And Growing Things I Would Imagine So Props To You You You Are The Few Of The Few And Yeah First Time Here What's Up Alright We Got Ku'ule In The House So I Had Good Fun Also This Past Week And I Went Out First Time I Went Out Since I
13:24 And Then We Went Down To There's Some Reggae Dub In Front Of Anui Nui Down Wailuku Side Of Hilo And This Guy Comes Out Of Nowhere And He's Like Are You Drake Yeah Yeah I mean Most Most Of The Time And He's Like Bruh You Changed My Life And He Telled Me This Whole Story About How He Moved Over Here And From Natural Farming Like He Was Growing Stuff And Growing Like An Apartment Kind Of Stuff And Growing And Then He Moved Over Here To Big Island Ended Up In The
14:09 Kohala Side But He's And But Then He Did A Project Out Laula Milo Which If You Don't Know Laula Milo It's Like It's Pretty Legendary In Hawaii Island It's One Of The Most Fertile Spots On The Island To Grow Because It's In A Divot Everywhere Else In Hawaii Is Steep And It Drains Off But Laula Milo Is Right On The Back Side All This Sediment Has Come Off Kohala Mountain And Mauna Kea And It's Like Kind Of Like All The Good Fertility Stayed In Laula Milo And It's Laula Milo Ag Lots There But Guys Have Been Just Treating It Like You Know They Don't Know Better And They Were Using Like Chemical
14:48 Fertilizer And Basically Turned What Was Like This Rich Fertile Soil Turned It Into Dust And Sand And Dirt And It Was Like You Know If You Look It's One Of The Best Soils There Yeah Hamakua Soils It's One Of The Best Everyone Else Is So Steep It All Goes Into The Ocean But There It Collects And But They Said They Got There And They Got An Ag Lot And The Thing Was Just Sandy And Not Not Even That Good And Whoever And They Grew Mad Kalo And Banana I Think Bananas I Don't Know It Was Kind Of Late And I Was Telling The Story But He Just Made It Fertile And And Just Made It Just Pump Food And
15:33 Native Food You Know Like Native I Don't Know Canoe Food I Don't Know What You Can Call Native Endemic Whatever Food Food Good Food And And Brought You Know These Stories Of People Where It's Like You Know From This YouTube Even Though Here It Is And You Know We Got Us Here You Know The Few Makes The Stories Out To The Many And There Are People Out There Listening And Doing Good Things So I Just Want To Big Up Everyone Out There Yeah The Mahiais Aloha Mahiais Making The Canoe Foods And If Are Planting So I Also Had A Chance That
16:19 I Was Eating Food A Couple Ladies I Decided I Was Like You Know I Can Eat With These Ladies And I Was Like What's Up And We Ended Up Talking Mostly About Food Almost The Time We Talking About Ninja Creamies And All This Good Stuff This Girl Heather Was Telling Me How She Blends Like Some Soybeans With Some Blueberries And Makes Thick Ice Cream Smoothie Kind Of Thing Because We Are Talking About Ice Cream And How We Want To Eat Better And Get More Healthy She Was Saying Oh Yeah She Uses An Immersion Blender And Blends The Beans Plus The Frozen Fruit Plus Cream Or Something I Don't Know And Makes
16:54 Just Good Stuff But Then We Got On To Farm Life You Know And Yeah Anyway We Got On To Cassava And So I Was Like Bro If You Don't Grow You Live In Hawaii You Don't Grow Cassava Man What You Doing Because It's So Easy You Just Stick The Stick In The Ground Basically Walk Away You Just Gotta Watch Out For The Pigs The Pigs Will Come The Pigs Smell That Stuff They Will Come And Eat Plant It Like Somewhere You Know Where Pigs Can't Get To It But Everybody
17:39 Should Have A Cassava It's Like What Are We Doing Right So Hopefully My Story Was Inspiring Hopefully You Know We Can Grow Cassava Hopefully They're Going To Come To The Natural Farming Meeting Which Is The Last Announcement Before We Get Into Whatever And I'm Going To Do The Meeting Second Tuesday Again I Don't Know If I Said It Before But I'll Say It Again Is That I'm Going To Be Doing The Meeting In Hilo Because It Was So Fun And It Did So Much And It Made So Much Difference And Here's The Thing Here's The Flyer And I'll Probably Just Post This To The YouTube
18:25 I Don't Because It's Kind Did Maybe Pause It On That Thing But I'll Post It To The YouTube As Like A Post But Is Is That Every Second Tuesday Starting December 9th I'm Going To Host The Meeting Which Is Going To Be You Know We'll See What Happens Because I Kind Of Wanted To Travel A Little Bit December January But I Think Maybe I'll Either Leave After That Or Before Come Back Or Whatever But I Was Also Going To Go To Maui Lanai Molokai Koi So If You're On Those Islands You Know Get In Touch And
19:11 Pick It Up Because I'll Be Coming Over There And Doing This Stuff And So Getting Getting A Meeting Together Getting A Base Station For Things Hopefully More Than Eight People Will Come But If Only Eight People Come We're Going To Have A Good Time Regardless It's Going To Be Good Food Good Soil Good Good Things So If Only Eight People Show I'm Not I'm Never Disappointed When Only A Few People Show Up Because It's The Quality Over The Quantity If You Get A Whole Bunch Of People Showing Up You Know You're Doing Something
19:59 Come Because You Always Gotta Be Pushing That Edge But Other Small Kind Good News Is I Was Going Up To My Cows This Morning Because I Went To Do The Meeting Last Night I Got To Pohol At One O'Clock And I Stayed Till Five And So By The Time I Got Back Here It Dark And I Didn't It Was Too Dark To Feed My Chickens So I Went Up To Go Feed My Chickens This Morning So They They Went Hungry Last Night But It's Okay They Can Eat The Floor They Can There's Plenty It's Not Like They're Starving That's The Whole Beauty Of Natural Farming But I Went Up And I Was Like I Seen This Cow Just Right There The
20:39 Baby Calf And I Thought It Was My Calf That I Had Maybe Two Three Weeks Ago Not That I Had But I Helped Facilitate The Field In Which The Cow Was Born But It Was Not Him It Was A Brand New Calf Hey Brody Thank You Shout Out To Brody In The House But I Got A Brand New Cow I Don't Even Know If It's A Male Or Female I Really Didn't Have Enough Time To Get There To See But Check This Out Turn It Side Can You See That I Gotta Put Real Close Focus Focus Will It Focus Come On Oh There It's Focusing Oh Can You
21:26 Let Let Are Going To Double Double Your Money The Only Thing I Can Think Of Agriculture I Just Doubled ! My Cows Right Had The Cows
22:11 Manage Them Properly They Doubled What Other Investment Out There Is Doubling Sure You Got Bitcoin Going Up Sure You Got Gold Going Up Because It's The Dollar Is Going Down The Dollar Is Going Down The Bitcoin Isn't Going Up The Gold Isn't Going Up The Dollar Is Going Down Right So When You Think Of It What Do You Need The Dollar Is Going Down Things Getting More Expensive Inflation What Do You Need Oh Agriculture Right Returning Back To The Roots Returning Back To You Know In A Good Place To Start Is Cassava Get Some Put It In The Ground You You You Take One Cassava Plant One Cassava Stick
22:54 Thank You Thank You Super Chats Thank You Thank You Got A Big Up Jay Bird Here Come On Thank You But Literally Cassava Is Like A 20 Times Return Right You Plant One In The Ground Then You Can Break It Into At 20 30 40 Pieces From That You Plant 40 Now You Got 80 Pounds Of Cassava Coming From One And Maybe If You Got Poor Soil 20 Pounds 20 Pounds 20 Pounds Is A Lot Of Food Imagine 20 Pounds Potato 20 Pounds Cassava That Can Feed You And Your Family For A Week Two Week Three Week If You Eat More Than 10 Pounds Cassava A Week You
23:40 A Champ So Then You Plant Now You Got 30 Right So It Was 30 X Now You Plant That You Get 30 Then From That 30 30 Times 30 What Is That I Don't Know It's A Lot It's Like 900 Something I Don't Know I'm Not Going To Do Math Live But It's Like 900 Right So 1 30 900 Like Hello How You Know You Just You Just Need The Space In Land There's Everybody Has A Yard Right I Mean Not Everybody People Live In Apartments Right Don't Get Me Wrong I'm Not Trying To Say Everyone Has This But There's Yards Around Right There's Bushes Like Just Go
24:25 In The Bushes ! And Freaking Machete A Small Spot Put Your Cassava No One's Going To Notice ! Your You
25:14 Like Rabbits Yeah So You Can Get Choke Of Those Right Agriculture Is The Best Way To Take What Was Something And Double Your Money You Know Double It Triple It Quadruple It Multi Times It By Thirty I Know It Doesn't Pay Well And It's Like You're Starting With Pennies But This Is The Whole Thing Like Penny Stock Investing Right You Go You Put These Small Things And Now The Illegitimate Government And No Longer Can You Know Afford Because Inflation And They Fucked The Dollar And You Know Did Military Conquest Everywhere Lived Above Their Means Now You Got The Basis You're Not Gonna Starve Right
25:59 Like You Know Ferment It Turn It You You Have The Fertilizer Right Take It If Anything Just Make Fertilizer Out Of It Sell It Right Now You You Know Anyway I'm Just Saying You Know I In The Pessimism Starting Of The Thing Where Yesterday At The Swine You Guys Ask Questions I'll Stop Talking But Or I'll Talk About That But With No Questions I Just Keep Going But But They Were Asking About The Swine And Trying To Make A Swine Co-op And I'm Like You're Trying To Build Swine Co-op Which Is Here But We Don't Have The Basis Of Agriculture Our Mac Nut Industry Is Failing Our Papaya Industry Is Failing
26:39 Our Sweet Potato Industry Is Barely Making It They Don't Have Enough To Get The Sweet Potatoes Out Of The Field Our Banana Industry Failing Our Fishing Industry Barely Making It Right You Need To Go Down From Pigs If You're Focusing On Pigs You Need To Come Down Here And You Need To Get Below Those Industries And Go Why Are They Failing Because The Soil Because Of The Fertility Because Of The Things They're Trying To Feed Are Not Correct And You Need To Fix This And Fixing This Is No Problem With Korean Natural Farming With Agricultural Drone Technology To Get The Sprays Out You Can Spray The
27:16 Mac Nuts You Can Spray The Papaya You Can Spray The Bananas The Sweet Potatoes Everything With Low Labor Cost Automated Drone Spraying Korean Natural Farming Ferments Putting Biologicals Into The Soil Now You Have These Industries Where Now You Got Papayas Then You Can Sell The Good Papayas To Somebody Who Has Money And Doesn't Grow This Like America Send It To Them Right And Then They Then Then You Have Waste Right Because Not Every Fruit Is Good So The Waste Then Goes And When You Have You Know You're Selling 80% Over Here You Got 20% Waste Now You Got Food For Your Pigs Now You Can Go To
27:58 That Next Level And You Can Start Creating Pork But If You're Trying To Import Food For The Pigs You're Trying To Grow Food Just For The Pig !
28:48 Ferment Most Of It Make Fertilizer Or Feed The Pigs And Now You Have This Pig Layer But If You're Just Starting Here With The Pigs And You're Like Oh We Need Pigs You're Doomed You're Doomed You're Never Going To Get The Pigs To Work Never Because Why It's It's Hanging In The Air On Nothing It Starts With The Soil It Starts With Ag Industry Then You Get Pigs And I Was Telling The Guys That And I Was You Know Not Not The People But I Telling The Extension Agent And Prim He's A Good Guy I Like Him And I I
29:49 I So Taking The Food From The Gardens And The Works Transforming Into Next Level Products Is Fun And The Money If You Ask Me So Yeah Value Adding Value Adding Is
30:49 Throw Them With Some Some Creatine Workout Smoothie There You Know But Yeah Value Adding No One Wants A Stick A Sugar Cane But They Want Sugar Cane Juice Or They Want Sugar Right It's Always About The Value Add You Always Gotta Have That Small Vertical To Make It Happen You Gotta Do The Marketing You Cannot Use Too Much ! AI When ! Do ! It Because People Gonna Be Skeptical At Least If You Use AI Make It Funny Yeah So Hawaii Has So Much High Quality Bananas If They're Cut Thin Really Thin And Dried At The Proper Time Before They Go Bad And Vacuum Sealed Super Premium Product Just As An Example

33:39 You Guys Out And Yeah It's Gonna Be Fun So Dude This Is Important A Lot Of People Start With Horticulture But What Really Matters Is Planting Carbohydrates And Growing You Cannot Start With The Animals You Can't I Know Alan Savory Restoring The Ground Grazing Ruminants Type Of Thing But You Know Anyway It Starts With The Soil Starts With The Soil Microbe ! Soil Inoculation Then Grass Then Ruminants And All The In That Cycle You Know Kick Start It All Together It Goes One Time But You Know Take Guava And Lily Coy Pure Pure
34:51 Monarch Parade With Aloha Aina Sign And Aloha Aina Group Got Banned It Was My Bad It Was Me It Was This Guy Right Here I Did It Sorry Uncle Craig Sorry Sometimes You Just Get Too Pumped Up When You Make An Aloha Aina Sign And You You Walking Down What Is That Kilauea Avenue Kinauea No No No No No Anyway Welcome To My He Fall I Mean Autumn I Don't Know What You Say Mark Dripping Bro My Papa Was A Pig Farmer And He Used To Use The Fish Pond Greens To Feed Them Yep Can Can But It's Not Gonna Feed Them All I Mean And Today You
35:36 Know Land Everything It's Like Identity I I'm Saying There's There's Ways To Do It Sustainably And Doing It Right Gotta Have Systems In The House In The House Yeah My My My Bridger Out There Still Steven Bolosan Doing Doing Good Stuff That Same Area But Most Of Pig Farms Is Waianae Side Waianae That's I I Was In Hawaii Love The Bananas And Mainland Not So Much Yep Went To School In Kauai Then Lived In Maui For Ten
36:21 Years Okay Yo What's Up Trambling Thomas Good To See You My Mom And Brother Still Live Maui Okay Yep Tell them To Come To The Natural Farming Workshop When I'm Over There I'll Be There Um Probably Gonna Do Like Haiku Side I Don't Know Um I Don't Know We'll See Maybe I'll Go Over Kihei Hang Out You Know McKenna Beach In The House And We'll See Um I Did Rotation Grazing With Broilers Now Autumn You Can Clearly See Where The Cages Of Chickens Have Been And Use Joe Salatin Styles Pens Awesome George Awesome Bro Yeah And Good To Hear From You The Other Day I Gotta Get Back To You I Know You Wanted
37:04 To Even Come Out Here Move Them Four Times Daily Jeez That Is Wild Me I Try To Make The Animal Systems Where I Move Them Every Four Days Not Four Times A Day Um But You But Getting Those Going That Is Where It's At My Chicken's Eye Got Better With Some Lab And Oichen Yeah So Last Week Thomas Was Asking He Had The Eye Was All Like Pink Eye And The Chicken Put Lab And Oichen Solved That Thing That Is Awesome Okay So No More Questions If You Got Questions Drop Them But We're Going To Jump Over Go Hang
37:54 So We Got Over Here Let Throw The Mouse On So You Can See We Got Joe McGinn And Brother Stephen I Was Just Talking About Him Stephen Bolasan He's Out Wailua Side Doing Good Stuff Joe In The Microbes So This Is I Was Talking To Kaika Yesterday So She's Been Doing Natural Farming Long Time And She Was Co Presenting With Me And Pahoa Good Time And The Indigenous Microorganisms That's Your First Time Here That's What IMO Stands For Is Indigenous Microorganism You Bulk Them Up In A Special Way Which I'm Not Going Into Right Now And This Is Dirt And Microorganisms So
38:39 You're Basically Getting All The Indigenous Wisdom The Spirits The Interactions The Love The Healing Your Mitochondria And You Bury Yourself In Here And It Creates An Artificial Fever And You'll See Joe Is Sweating And The Sweat Then Opens Up Your Pores And All These Microbes Go Inside And They Start To Build Microbial Armor On You So You're Getting Not Only Wireless Charging Yourself You're Also Getting A Layer Of Armor On Yourself Invisible Holy Spirit Warriors To Help Out Or Angels Whatever You So He's Burying Himself In Here And That's What We're Up To So Let's Jump In Let
39:34 Me Blast You Guys On The Volume You Just Take Away The Fly So You've Been In What Five Minutes Steeping At The Pen Yeah I Was 3 27 So It's Uh It's 10 Minutes 10 Minutes Starting The Sweat Before It
40:20 All The Mic Yeah So It's Not Just A Physical Thing It's A Mental Thing When You Envision All These Microbes Coming Into You And Healing And You Envision All This Love The Reason They're Heating Up Is Because They're Making Love So Literally You Are In A Wireless Charging Bath Of Love And George When You Say You Haven't Done It Check This Out So We Made And Here's You Know Here's A Picture Of Jumping In Over Here This Is The IMO Three So Oh Shoot Let me Make It Big Like That So Can You See Yeah
41:05 So This Is She's In The Chat Right Now This Is Her In There Yeah So We Made A Batch This Was A 200 Pound Pile But Super Easy To Make I Made A Box Yeah So You Can Get But Made A Box Just Like They Have There And Framed It Up And Made It So It's Right There Under A Cover And Then You Know Jumped Inside And Then This Is The Microbes You Know They Got Like They're Starting To Bloom Out A Little Bit You Don't Really Want Them To Bloom Like That But It's Happening How Long Does It Take To Get Usable IMO Well The Collection Takes About 5 To 14 Days Depending On
41:50 Your Temperature And You Preserve Them For Three Days Just To Purify Them In Sugar Then You Put Them Into A Substrate Like I'm Using Do More Senior Horse Feed And I Recommend At Least 100 Pound Pile And It Then Takes About Two Days 24 Hours Between 24 And 48 Hours To Start Heating Up And Then You Have To Keep It Under 120 And It Goes For You 11 Days Or So Of Turning It You Gotta Keep It Under 120 The Whole Time And Then You Mix In Soil And The Equids And It Goes Again For Another 7 To 14 Days And
42:35 Then You're Done So In Total That's Probably About Three Weeks To Get Usable IMO For Which There's Reasons For Going Through All This And That Is Probably One Of The More Complex Questions Because This Is A Very Multi Stage Process To Go Through And Collecting IMOs The Best Time Is Spring Okay The Second Best Time Is Fall The Worst Time Is Winter The Least The Second Least Worst Time I Don't Know Whatever Is Summer It's Just Best Spring Is Best Fall Is Second Best Summer Is Next Winter Is The Hardest If You're Going To Do Winter What I Would Do Is Do A
