Zoom H6. Handy recorder. Trying to balance all those levels and then post-processing it with this OBS. Hopefully, all that's working out for you. Man, what a week it's been for me. Got a neck cramp. I've been trying to automate the office hours, the KNF podcast. Getting that so that you can do auto-summarization. Get all that together. Might be worth a little bit of share here.

6:53 I don't know if anyone really cares. I talk about AI stuff and all these things and trying to bring things into reality. Because it's like, here you are, and Hawaiian AI is AI. Right? Hawaiian AI. The AI. And, um, so I was working on a project called the Spirit of Massive Show. And I take all the knowledge that I have and transcribe it. And then bring it up so that we can, um, get this. So that we can, you know, take the knowledge he has and apply AI learning models to it. Basically build. They're calling it a rag. It's a retrieval augmented generation.

7:38 I don't even know if anyone pays attention to this kind of stuff. But, um, the idea is that, um, you know, take the data and then be able to ask a question and then have it pull the relevant video clips or bits of Master Cho talking about the things that we want to see. And, um, you know, when you, when you have a ton of data, it's like, great. But what is that worthwhile if you can't access it and access it when you need it? So, so that's what I've been working on trying to, um, get those things together. So let's transition over here.

8:11 So basically these, I don't know if you can even see it, but these bits of code here, these are all these different things that I need to do with the office hour to transcribe it. So we have, uh, convert video to audio. So this, this little script right here runs and, um, we'll use whisper AI to take, uh, the, uh, open AI's whisper model and basically convert the FF, use FFmpeg to convert it to 16 bit audio. And then I'm, then I'm going to run some filters on it, which I haven't run this script yet. I run it without the filters, but I'm hoping that it'll pull a little bit higher quality

8:55 data by running a, um, noise filter over it. And then also doing some normalization, a few other things, bypass filter, things like that, and then convert it into a wave and then an MP3 for the, um, or the podcast there. And then I run a deep deduplication script because sometimes the AI hallucinates and it just says like repeats the same line over and over again. So usually it's happens when there's a foreign language being spoken. So if you know, there's English and then Korean, it just hallucinates while the Korean's being spoken because I'm running an English model on it.

9:34 Um, and so it'll just repeat the same line over and over and, uh, extracting the text out. This just takes, uh, uh, the model that whisper AI loads a JSON and then gives me the text. So I can then run thing, a thing like this, which this is the interesting model here. This is a, um, find the, um, find the interesting topics that were talked about. So it's interesting to kind of train the AI to analyze this conversation segment and identify the main topics being discussed. Respond with a single clear topic that would work as a video title, 30 characters or less.

10:11 Make it descriptive, but concise using title case. Example response, making IMO with beer spoils, using fish amino acids, natural farming basics. And then I, then I say text to analyze and give it the chunk of text that it's analyzing and see what it can return. And I'm using, um, llama 3.2 based on this machine that producing this office hours right now to do this. And then it will find similar topics. So it scans through and it says, you know, it's checking, um, you got to send it in chunks. So it'll check if the next chunk that I sent it and I'm sending it in one minute chunks,

10:51 the next topic or in the next chunk is on the same topic. If it thinks that way, then weight it together and try and combine those so that I don't just end up with one minute chunks with titles, but actually get like three to five minute chunks, whatever I'm talking about in topic wise. And this is the same for the office hours, as well as these natural farming, um, uh, videos like master Cho, like if they're talking about the same topic, then chunk it, you know, make it a segment versus just a minute chunk. And that'll make it a little bit better for searching.

11:25 And this is an algorithm to kind of look through that and take the words and weight it and do all that. And then find the topic shifts and then, you know, process all these chunks together and then output the files. So long bit of code there here, but the basic thing that it'll, it'll turn out for us will look like this, where, um, this is like a segmented, um, bit of it of what it turns out. I don't know if you can, I don't even know if it's pretty small and I'm just previewing this. I can't really make the text bigger, but this is what it'll do.

12:03 So it'll, it'll, it'll chunk out these things or to say like, you know, the basics of like this was, um, the office hour 159, um, that was on, uh, January 19th, 2025. And it said, you know, the first chunk, the four minute duration was on Korean natural farming basics. And then it found master chose passing in the animal series. Oh my gosh. I don't know why it said that, but, um, and then reflecting on a family legacy, talking about master Cho and all those things were put here. And that was a two minute chunk that it pulled out.

12:37 And, um, you know, learning from lost opportunities, three minute chunk that was being pulled. Korean burial mounds. I guess I was talking about that and how the, um, you know, and then master Cho, we're talking at, this was the day that, um, day before master Cho or day after master Cho passed. So I was talking about this where it's like master Cho's highest civil honor. We're talking about him earning the award in China. Um, and then the Chinese army's unconventional food provisions. It was a two minute chunk was talking about how the, uh, Chinese army moves with its pigs

13:10 and why master Cho's innovations of no smell pigs were so vital. And then, um, you know, uh, meeting with Dr. Park legacy, uh, troubleshooting map issues. Because I was talking then about my farm, these things honoring a master. We had a four minute chunk here, you know, uh, so, um, yeah. So, so anyway, you know, I, I don't know. My idea was to basically chunk these things up and then put it onto the YouTube so that it's more accessible. And also to use this to go back to, you know, like there's like making liquid compost, right? This is an eight minute chunk that it pulled out of here.

13:53 There's an eight seconds. I think it's eight minutes, eight minute chunk that it pulled out of making liquid IMO. And it says the main topic being discussed is natural fertilizer production. So I always think that those, you know, like office hours has great data, but then it's not, you know, make it accessible to a larger audience would be chunking these things up and we'll see how, you know, IMOs, it thinks it's instant mochi and, um, you know, storage, long-term preservation, um, here. So it's, it's like, we'll see how it does, um, the AI doing these things.

14:29 Um, but it'll, it'll produce these segments. And then the idea is to, um, each one kind of go through and, uh, you know, here, here was a different approach. I tried to get it to, to take a summary of the episode and then map the topics to the summaries. And I don't think that's going to work as well. It generates worse data than I thought it would generate better data. It doesn't. And then put the podcast and upload it automatically to my WordPress so that I can publish the KNF podcast, prepare the clips. So this, this is actually not a working code there. Um, progress indicators.

15:06 That's my own thing. So I can see how the AI is running and then, um, what is it? Summarize the transcript. So, so it also generates a summary. So if I was to look here at, um, that same episode, but a summary text, it's going to generate something like this out of it. So anyway, that's, that's what I've been working on this past week, trying to automate, um, these episodes use some AI.

So my prompt was, below are several video segment titles and topics. Please rank them by how interesting they would be to the general audience, considering factors like uniqueness, broad appeal, and educational value. Return an object, return a JSON array of objects containing the title and a score sorted by score and descending order. Only return the JSON and no other text. So wild.

18:54 I'm making the AI do all the good stuff. Sure. Which are the best episodes? I don't know. We're going to get tuned by an AI and see what it, what it picked. If you do see those things pop up in the channel, you know, I just ran a script to do it. I didn't do it myself. No human intervention. We'll see how that goes. I am able to get all this together. But I tell you, man, writing code with a cursor and Claude and DeepSeek and Llama and all these models that are coming out, it's wild. Like 10 times, 30 times more productive making things happen. I get confused and it helps me.

19:31 So anyway, let's return back to the human bit of this. And then I'm here to not just talk about AIs and how I'm going to use them to take over the natural farming world. But let's see. But but it says L.A.B. goes from 77 to 82 Fahrenheit, which which makes sense to me. So I think your L.A.B. was a little bit low on the temperature. But the cool thing about L.A.B. is it says it can tolerate 95 to 104.

21:50 But the growth may slow down. And they exhibit maximum activity between 75 to 79. So this is, you know, O.L.A. or Lama 3.2 answering your question. And here are this. You know, here's the interesting thing about this. It's like specific L.A.B. species and their optimal temperature ranges are, you know, like if you want acidophilus, it's 72 to 82. You want ramsosinus, it's 75 to 86. And if you want bifidum, it's 68 to 77. So most likely at your temperature range, Mark, you grew more of this bifidum and not the acidophilus and not the ramsinosis. I don't know. It's always interesting to see.

22:32 I mean, this is how you can get different things. And there's the AI just helping us. I don't know if it's, you know, eventually it's going to take us over and make us its slave or whatever. It's crazy how fast this is being developed. But it, you know, we'll see. So that could be a bit of the issue right there is that, and Big Wes is recommending use a shop light to keep it warm.

If I pull what I believe to be rhubarb out of my garden patch, it was there before I dug the garden. I left it. Will it come back again and again? If it does, just keep fermenting it, man. Pull it fermented. Pull it fermented. It's like a gift.

23:50 If it's growing naturally and it's thriving, then ferment the crap out of it. Make it into a plant juice and reapply it to your garden. And that is a gift beyond belief. Those things going for you. Yeah, and Cheryl's saying if you don't get the rhizome, it will come back. But, again, just keep fermenting that thing. Just treat it as a gift. Or compost it, you know. Feed it back. I always love those plants that just... You cut them, compass them, and then they keep growing. You just keep harvesting them. Those are plants. Because there's so much vigor.

24:27 So, when you ferment those and you're fermenting the growing tips, you're just... As you're eliminating it by harvesting and over-harvesting it, you're at least turning it into ferments and putting it back on your garden. So, another question here. I have a slugs in my worm bin. I removed the extra food, blended it, and re-added it as a smoothie with slugs blended in. Can I use beer traps in there or kill wigglers? I would watch out a whole lot on putting alcohol into a worm bin. Alcohol is one of the main ways to kill worms. So, be extraordinarily careful on putting alcohol. Beer may be okay.

But zero greenhouse gas emissions besides the manufacturing. I mean, don't forget the manufacturing. And I'm always happy that I produce carbon dioxide because I'm feeding the plants.

How do slug eating nematodes work?

The, the venom disrupts the slug's nervous system, causing paralysis and eventual death. Sounds like rat lung, um, symptoms, symptoms for people. It eats your freaking brain and you die. Yes! Thank you, Sadu. Yeah. I hope to make the world a better place. Once the slug is dead, the nematode breaks down its internal tissue using enzymes and absorbs the nutrients from its body. This is so metal. Just. Um. This process can take several days to complete.
