From the KNF library

The library shows FFJ on Cho's chart, but only in the later columns. (Cho's Solutions, p. 12)

On Cho's one-gallon chart, FPJ takes 8 mL in the first three columns. FFJ takes 8 mL in the last two: the fruit and reproductive stage, and enhanced ripening. (Cho's Solutions, p. 12)

So in that chart FFJ is a fruiting input. It is not a soil, seed or vegetative input. (Cho's Solutions, p. 12)

The chart lists FPJ and FFJ as separate lines, so it does not treat them as the same input. (Cho's Solutions, p. 12) KNF Demystified does the same in its 4-gallon veg, crossover and reproductive mixes. (KNF Demystified, p. 24) Cho describes FFJ as made from fruit and sugar. (Cho, Theory, p. 75)

Drake's guidance is to follow Master Cho's formula chart. (Office Hours Ep. 147, 36:54)

The library does not say why Cho placed FFJ where he did. It also does not say which chart the asker is looking at.

Here's my personal view on it and this could be wrong but I believe that an FFJ is basically just a FPJ and that the type of FPJ you feed is dependent upon plant cycle. Fast growing tips for the leaf cycle, unripe fruit for changeover, ripe fruit for fruit/flower...
