Drake's stage table lists IMO2 as the stable storage stage. (Cho's Solutions, p. 11)
IMO2 can be stored for up to 3 years at room temperature, or centuries in a refrigerator. (Cho's Solutions, p. 17) Keep it in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. (Student's Manual, Basic Course, p. 44)
For a small garden, Drake says top dress is better for a small bed. (Office Hours Ep. 78, 31:31) Liquid IMO is for when you have a little IMO4 and a lot of acreage to cover. (Office Hours Ep. 78, 31:31)
Drake also says IMO4 moves fine between farms and neighbors, if it comes from the same climate region. (Office Hours Ep. 10, 1:04:16)
The library does not say whether IMO4 keeps in a wood box, a metal container, or covered bags. Drake would need to answer that part.
