JLF
- My question is about how much JLF to use, if I have “super-soil.” This year I put a total of two gallons of JLF into 55 gallons of water (Fish Meal, Phyllite, Chitosan, Kelp, & Oyster). My plants burned! Of course, I was giving each plant 5-gallons of the feed. Did I get the ratio wrong? Should have done less JLF? Thank you!

Two gallons of JLF in 55 gallons of water is about 1:27.
For a weed-based JLF, Drake's cheap-fertilizer answer dilutes the juice 1:100 for general use. (Office Hours Ep. 38, 49:22) Your mix is about four times stronger than that. (Office Hours Ep. 38, 49:22)
Drake also gives chitosan at 1:1,000, mixed with other natural farming materials through the whole crop cycle. (Cho, Recipe, p. 63) WCA, another calcium input, has a basic dilution of 1:1,000. (Cho, Recipe, p. 62)
The library does not cover super-soil, fish meal, phyllite, kelp, or how much feed each plant should get.
