(Office Hours Ep. 112, 31:35) The nine core solutions are combined into seven general formulas for stages like leaf growth, blooming, fruiting, and maintenance. (Office Hours Ep. 23, 32:22) Match the formula to the plant's stage on the KNF growth-cycle chart. (Office Hours Ep. 16, 58:51)
Drake compares stage timing to feeding a baby, a teenager, or an elder food matched to their stage. Skipping it still works, but timing it right brings more balance. (Office Hours Ep. 129, 39:38)
Cho gives the reason. Each growth stage needs different nutrition, in different categories and amounts. (Cho, Theory, p. 90) KNF Demystified gives one example: amino acids in the early vegetative stage. (KNF Demystified, p. 25)
Liquid IMO is the exception. It can go on at any time with the other solutions. (Office Hours Ep. 117, 27:49)
The library does not say whether the app's formulas already build in the stage rotation.
