The library backs the yes and adds numbers for chickens.
Drake's source says fermented seawater can go in drinking water if it is fermented properly and does not smell bad. (Office Hours Ep. 121, 16:32) Master Cho says it gives crops and livestock plenty of energy. (Cho, Recipe, p. 81)
- Use it fast. It does not store well. Use it within two to three days. (Office Hours Ep. 6, 47:23)
- For molting chickens, seawater at 1:30 in drinking water curbs feather loss. (Office Hours Ep. 72, 59:45)
- Cho's summer recipe for feather loss is stronger. It uses seawater at 1:10 to 1:15, brown rice vinegar at 1:200, and water-soluble calcium at 1:500, every other day. (Cho, Recipe, p. 82)
The blocks disagree on strength for chickens: 1:30 (Office Hours Ep. 72, 59:45) against 1:10 to 1:15 (Cho, Recipe, p. 82). Both name plain seawater, not fermented. (Office Hours Ep. 72, 59:45) (Cho, Recipe, p. 82) The library gives no dilution for fermented seawater in drinking water. It says nothing on other animals.
