Container for FAA Ferment
I currently use a cooler to ferment my FAA and was wondering if anyone has any other container suggestions that work well?

Your cooler is a fine start. The library adds a few container ideas.
- Cho lists a clay jar, a cedar box, or a PE container. (Cho, Recipe, p. 48)
- KNF Demystified suggests a container with a spigot on the bottom, so you can pour off the liquid easily. (KNF Demystified, p. 39)
- Cho's chart says to fill the container to two-thirds. (Cho's Solutions, p. 13)
On lids, the sources disagree. Cho covers the opening with mosquito net and sets a lid on so that air can flow. (Cho, Recipe, p. 51) Drake says to seal the lid instead of leaving it breathable. (Office Hours Ep. 14, 1:01:20) That matches the human answer above.
The library says nothing about coolers, and it does not say which materials to avoid.
