BRV substitute

I was wondering if substituting BRV with ACV is ok? And if it is are the dilution ratios the same ? I’m going to make my own vinegar but need something to use right now until it’s done brewing.

Drake says to use apple cider vinegar in place of brown rice vinegar. A living ACV is even better. (Office Hours Ep. 40, 53:01) Any living fruit vinegar works, and ACV counts. (Office Hours Ep. 17, 14:15)

The library gives BRV ratios and none specific to ACV. Start from the BRV numbers:

Master Cho's ratios changed over time and in translation. Treat them as guidelines. (Office Hours Ep. 74, 21:17)

If your own batch grows mold on top, that is normal. (Office Hours Mar 2023, 8:36) Stop BRV before harvest, because it lowers sugar content. (Office Hours Ep. 66, 1:11:43)
