Applying maintenance formula in winter?

I live where it frosts a few times a year (5-20? Times) and we are heading into winter, just had first frost but sunny days on those days and plants still grow slowly. Would I continue to spray the maintenance mixture weekly in these conditions? Side note, the frost was around our suburban garden but not in the garden so the life must be keeping it a little warmer inside the fence. Last year we had frost into the trees 3m up, tamarillo froze. It seems the BRV has thickened the new tamarillo leaves which I hope helps. Looking forward to see how growth responds to these sprays in spring!

From the KNF library Drafted by Claude from Office Hours and the books · Sep 2026 · 5 sources

Drake sprays weekly with whichever formula matches the crop's current stage. (Office Hours Ep. 30, 46:08) The library's maintenance answer agrees: spray about once a week, or water it in twice a week. (Office Hours Ep. 24, 28:49)

For winter, the library says to mulch with straw, then spray liquid IMO, lactobacillus, and maintenance solution. (Office Hours Ep. 11, 55:53)

On frost, Cho's recipe book describes soil treated with Mineral A staying frost-free. (Cho, Recipe, p. 85) It says plants can take nutrients in cold weather and recover quickly from cold damage. (Cho, Recipe, p. 85) Cho also says to use WCA when the weather is not favorable. (Cho, Recipe, p. 62)

The library gives no separate winter schedule. It says nothing on tamarillo, spray timing on frost days, or BRV thickening leaves.
