Cho describes FAA as a liquid made from fish waste. It holds various types of amino acids. (Cho, Recipe, p. 48)
The Foundation manual says FAA contains very simple amino acids that help leafy material grow fast. (Pure KNF Manual, p. 31) Drake says FAA is already broken-down, water-soluble amino acids. (Office Hours Ep. 84, 18:40)
Drake ties this to the method. FAA ferments raw fish with sugar and lactic acid bacteria, without heat. That keeps the amino acids simple. (Office Hours Ep. 11, 7:13) The fish sets the profile. Cho says blue-back fish carry good proteins, amino acids and fatty acids. (Cho, Recipe, p. 49)
The library gives no list of individual amino acids and says nothing about L- forms.
