Aloe Vera fpj
I have an aloe fpj I recently super saturated I’ve put a lot of sugar in and stirred until a sugar ring has formed. I’m curious about how much bubbles are still being produced Ive turned 1/2 pint into 2 pints of super saturated solution and also added a tiny bit of 80 proof to try to create dormancy. Now I have a separation

Drake's library says aloe FPJ takes one-third of the leaf weight in sugar. Then you strain it and super-saturate the juice with more sugar. (Office Hours Ep. 82, 50:19)
A thin ring of sugar on the bottom after stirring marks the supersaturation point. (Office Hours Ep. 17, 1:07:21) Your ring is the right sign.
On the bubbles: fizz in a batch probably means it wasn't super-saturated. Drake says to rerun it through a fine filter like a t-shirt, then super-saturate it properly. (Office Hours Ep. 33, 1:02:25) A strong alcohol smell points the same way. (Office Hours Ep. 88, 27:29)
If your separation is sugar settled at the bottom, that layer is no longer plant juice. The hormones, enzymes and endophytes have dropped out of it. (Office Hours Ep. 133, 1:04:40)
Once the jar is super-saturated, keep it under an airtight lid. (Office Hours Ep. 26, 22:50) With plenty of sugar, FPJ can keep about a year in the fridge. (Office Hours Ep. 12, 31:40)
The library says nothing about adding 80-proof alcohol for dormancy.
