Ginger brand details
· Bought about two pounds of organic ginger from Abundant Life in Hilo Hawaii
I then took a lava rock that was picked up at bayfront, in Hilo, Hi, and smashed it. It is the perfect rock. I'll let you borrow, it's pretty sweet. After smashing the ginger I put approximately 500 Ml with equal parts brown sugar mixed well. let this ferment for 3 days. Then added fleischmann's vodka to the 1500ml. This was then stirred for 14 days clockwise with its own bamboo spoon with its name written on it. Strained and cposted material. Could have reused it 3-4 more times, ran out of vodka, plus couldn't afford to buy another at that time.Verified by Drake Weinert · August 21, 2017

Took 66g and rehydrated 2 days in beer, then mixed equal parts brown sugar and let ferment for three days, then filledwith vodka to 1500ml. Preceded to stir clockwise with a bamboo spoon specifically for licorice (I wrote it's name on it) every morning (~7am) for next 14 days. Then I strained and and refilled ⅓ with old tincture and filled rest of way with vodka. Stirred for 14 days strained again. At this point I just composted the licorice. I could have done it two to three more times chose not to... it makes a lot.Verified by Drake Weinert · August 21, 2017
